They came individually wrapped as stated. At first I wasn't sure if there was any toothpaste on the brushes, but it foamed up with I started using it after adding a little water. I prefer a slightly stiffer bristle - these were very soft, but still got the job done. The flavor is okay - it's minty but was also slightly bitter to me. It wasn't a big deal though and wouldn't stop me from personally using them or gifting them to others to use.

This is beyond perfect for this time of year to make gift baggies or to send to kids going to college or to take to your local homeless shelter. A toothbrush is something so often taken for granted but can mean so much. Love the pre pasted concept also!
