Dr. MartensWomen's 1461 Shoes

Very disappointed with this product as splitting after just one month of wearing. I do not wear these excessively and use proper care for them. I feel that these dr martens are not legit as after having a pair for several years bought from official dr marten shop they did not do this. I have trusted dr martens as a brand for many years and feel their products are made to last, however this pair did not. Do not recommend buying these.

Great pair of shoes, took a week or so to break them in, as expected with Docs.There'll be some blistering at the heels for a bit, it does go away.It's cheap leather, plastic-y, but tough, hard, it will last a while too, sole is usual Doc quality, better than most.It seems a durable shoe too, I recommend it as an extra pair, or for casual/work needs.I recommend the more expensive for-life line above this. But then again, they're twice the price.[EDIT]: I've raised my score from 3 to 5 stars. These have lasted quite well and become seriously comfortable. I've walked in them up to 5-7 miles at a time, and whilst they're definitely not meant to worn for such distances, they've held up well, and remain very comfy. Dr Marten soles are just so good. The leather wasn't very soft at first, but now, more than a year later, it's really soft, and the fit is still good and the leather hasn't over-stretched. There was some annoying squeaking in the upper, between the tongue and lace cages, but this was fixed by scratching up the tongue at the sides. These are my go-to pair of shoes, and have been for a while. They do fit large, about half a size to a size large, which is perfect for my 11.7" and 11.9" feet.

I have bought 2 pairs of these in the last 10 days 1 size 7 and 1 size 8, with the 7s my toes felt a bit cramped and with the 8s the shoe feel a bit big I had to buy some heel cushions to make them fit better shame they don't do a half size.One last thing neither pair had the logo-embossed on the lateral heel as stated in the advert.

Hello I purchased a pair of dr martens in December 2016 for my daughter. She does not wear them very often and the air bubble in the shoe has gone and there squeezing when she wears them. She has had dr martens a few times and they have never done this so there is obviously a fault. This should not of happened in this short space of time. I would appreciate it if you could refund the money and I will send the shoes back or give her another pair please. These shoes are not cheap to buy and the reason I do buy them is because there meant to be hard wearing and last for at least 2/3 years. Regards Amanda

Am really disappointed with this purchase. Tried to request a refund as the shoe has broken at the front and it’s been denied as the return is ‘too late’. For a shoe that’s almost £100 it should last me at least a year so and I own 8 other pairs of docs and this hasn’t happened with them.

I have worn this style of shoe since I was 14 and I have bought and worn out countless pairs.Again I have bought these DM shoes at a very good price and will be worn in slowly before they are put into service.By the way I am 52 now so work out amongst yourselves how many pairs !!!

I bought these for my hubby, quick delivery, nicely packaged, They are heavy, good quality, exactly what you expect from D.MS. He had to break them in but this was to be expected as they are so durable, high performance & made to last. I expect these to last him many years like his previous pair. Fabulous price infact the cheapest around as these same shoes were being sold for £95.00 from some retailers. These also come with a spare of bright yellow laces too. Will be purchasing from this supplier again. Very pleased.

The media could not be loaded.  Upon receiving the item, one of the shoes makes a snapping sound in the sole with every step you take. I tried to replace these but the vendors will not accept this as a valid reason to refund. Very disappointed as the shoes are not usable in this state. Still trying to resolve this issue but the vendors don't seem reasonable given that we sent them videos like the above too.
