Q: does the cable rattle inside the tube when moving the boompole? is the inside of the tube padded?

When extended, the cable easily rattles inside the tube (no internal padding whatsoever) the further extended and more tightly the cable is pulled the more it rattles. If your boom op moves at all, when you play back your audio, it sounds like a thunderstorm.

Q: Can i use this with a rode video mic ntg? Do i need any other accessories for it to work?

You can use any mic, the good thing is that the cable is built into the pole.

Q: How do the neewer nw-088 and neewer nw-7000 compare? what's different about them other than cost?

These are decent. But if you can find one that’s carbon fiber for a similar cost I strongly recommend going that route instead. Lighter and quieter.

Q: Hello, does this work for the Sennheiser mk600?

As long as you have a mic mount/shock mount with a 3/8-16 or 5/8-27 inch receiver (sold separately) to securely hold your mk600, you will have no problems using it with this boom pole.
