No lumps, great flavor, color and mouth feel.
I was kind of afraid to spend so much on a bag of tea but I wanted the cost benefit of buying in bulk. I'm so glad I risked it. The color is deep and rich, the taste is the best I've ever had, and the texture is superb. Some matchas leave lumps in the bottom of your cup unless you put the powder thru a sifter. With this brand, even without sifting there's no residue whatsoever. What's more, there's some real research suggesting that drinking green tea increases longevity. Its so great when you find something that's enjoyable and good for you.Edit: I finished the first bag and bought a second. Its just as good as the first. Note that sometimes the 12 ounce size bag is cheaper per ounce and sometimes this 16 ounce size is cheapest.Edit: I'm back here again buying more. I'm getting consistently great quality.

Costco no longer carries
I tried this first at Costco and was an instant fan and they stopped carrying it. The hunt was on. It blends easily in my smoothies in the morning, I find it virtually tasteless. I don't know what "grade" it is in terms of ceremonial quality but for my use that level would be wasted. I have found the larger bag to be quite cost effective.

Switched to green tea for my ulcers, plenty of energy now.
I’ve been drinking this for the last 4 years, I’ve tried many other brands before settling on this one because it’s higher grade than many imposters and it’s neither gritty nor bitter, I’ve used a teaspoon of honey, maple syrup, agave and even a stevia leaf or two and I savor it each morning.

Add hot water!
The trick to not ending up with lumpy matcha is hot water (duh)! I don't enjoy hot beverages so I add about 3 tablesbspoons of hot water to 1 teaspoon of matcha and vigorously stir with a spoon (you don't need a fancy wisk- end result is the same) to get smooth matcha without any lumps or bumps. I then add milk for a delightful, cold creamy matcha beverage. Boosts brain power in the morning and miraculously calms anxiety while still giving you a boost of energy (thanks to l-theanine!)

BUMMER
I discovered Ujido matcha tea powder at my local Sprouts. It happened to be my first matcha purchase and it was a good one. It became a go-to for my daily latte brew. The matcha powder was bright and the taste reminded me of the really good matcha lattes I'd had at cafes. Not at all like the generic Starbucks matcha. No--this Sprouts matcha gem was lively, quality stuff. But buying 2oz bags of premium matcha at Sprouts dents the wallet pretty well. So I pulled the trigger and bought this large 16oz bag. "This oughta last me the rest of the year!" I thought to myself excitedly before checking out. The bag appeared to be the exact same--like, identical--after all. But, to echo others in this review section that I dumbly ignored, this powder is nothing like the one that got me hooked. It's dull colored and just does not taste right. It's not simply a notch down in quality. It's several notches down. Now I'm stuck with a giant bag of matcha that tastes like grassy earth, and I can't send it back due to the Amazon return policy. I understand I guess. It's a lot of matcha to go to waste, and I'll likely just suck it up and go through the bag one painstaking sip at a time (I'll be using so much honey that you might as well call me Pooh Bear). But I can't help but feel misled. I will be switching brands...in a few months.

Way to start the day!
My favorite way to start the day...delicious! I quit coffee a few years ago. My body would ache from the coffee and I would crash about 1 in the afternoon. I switched to tea and discovered Ujido! Now its been my go to for several years. Great burst of energy that lasts all day! ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT!

Ujido one of the best available.
I'm enjoying Ujido Matcha Tea VERY MUCH. I've been drinking matcha tea for a few years. Ujido is one of the best in my opinion. It's smooth not bitter, yet strong or mild I can control the level. I drink it unsweetened and with out cream. It's perfect just as it is for me.
