Aowasi Digital Day Clock Non-Abbreviations Day and Date Dementia Vision Impaired Calendar Clocks Perfect for Seniors Elderly

I got this for my father and it works out so well I bought a second one! One is hanging on the wall by his bed and a second is freestanding near the kitchen table. We’ve had them for a few months without any problem. This particular model has larger text. We’re very happy with them.

After Husbands last stroke he was getting confused about am/pm & day of week. He also started losing sight in one eye. This clock is bright enough, he can see it at all times. The clock has been wonderful. It was easy to set up & has helped a lot. It has to be plugged in & that's ok to. It is on the wall where he can see it at all times.

I enjoy the product because it has made a difference in my family's lives.

the clock is easy to read from anywhere in the room and provides the important information for the day - especially helpful for forgetful seniors. only issue was the self-standing mechanism didn't seem to work. we ended up hanging on the wall which was a better solution, but instructions for how to stand the clock up on a table would be helpful.

UPDATE: contacted seller and they replaced it immediately! Great communication and quick shipping.This is a great clock to help remember the day. It had a large clear display. Quit working after 60 days of use and 15 of those days was outside of the Amazon return window. I am contacting the seller for warranty information, if there is any. I like it so much I ordered another but included a 2 year warranty. I hope the seller makes it right but replacing, if not I will return the second one regardless that I purchased a warranty. I will edit my findings.

This product has been a godsend for our brother-in-law, who resides in a care facility. He has been visual and cognitive issues. We would love to have an extra remote control, as this seems to be the only way to change the time. However, the good folks at Amazon do not have any information on how to contact the Aowasi company. They suggested we write a review, and we hope company will respond. We would love to thank them for such a great product.

i wish this worked the way it should. i bought for my elderly mom. the first clock i got lost time once i set it. 5 min slow, 15 min slow... i returned and the company graciously sent another one. this one seemed to work until about a week and a half ago. the time was off by a few hours. i reset it, it kept time for a few hours, then, slowly lost accuracy again. with an elderly parent, i was hoping this would help her re-orient when she woke in the middle of the nite.

There will come a time when you are visiting elderly parents a few times daily. I found mine were lost when it came to the time of day and/or the day itself. This solves that. Easy to read, the fact that it will call out AM or PM but additionally state on the screen 'afternoon' or 'morning' etc is fantastic. Mine also arrived entirely set up with correct time which was nice. It is very light. When I tried to hang it on the wall the weight of the cord would not allow it to hang level. Thats it as far as anything negative. It does come with a small outrigger style leg that allows it to be set on nightstand or shelf which works fine. It survives retaining the time thru power outages as well. ALSO NICE that it does not say anything on packaging about being perfect for elderly and dementia patients.

Bought this for my mum who is 90. She needs help with remembering the dates and times of appointments. It’s large, the display is well laid out and it has proved very useful.

I do not use the alarms and reminders but for the time and date, it is pretty good. We bought this for my elderly grand mother. She loves it.
