It looks factory OEM! Sounds great too!
After owning the NVX Boost subwoofer custom enclosure for a few months, I've decided I would leave a review. The unit itself is perfectly made to sit on the driver side truck space of the Prius. The unit pumps out enough bass for my music taste and can be tuned up for more! I paired it up with an NVX MVPA1 amp so I could maximize my space in the trunk.PS: After losing a part from the amp (my fault) I e-mailed NVX and asked if I could buy the part I misplaced. I got a reply from Allyn from NVX and said that I would be getting it soon, for no cost! Awesome customer service from NVX!

Subwoofer blew in 3min
So sad, subwoofer blew 2min after finish install and I have an amp 300 watts so I don’t understand…

Great for the price
The enclosure fits well in the trunk, causes a slight gap with the trunk floor panel but isnt noticeable and the carpeting matches the trunk very well. Install looks very clean. The sub worked well and eventually blew even while running always at low volume. The mounting hardware does not fit on the trunk standoff, there were only two screw inserts for mounting the subwoofer. Found you can use a "M6x20mm Female Thread Phillips Head Nut Furniture Fittings" to mount the enclosure to the standoff.

Dead after 3 minutes
I bought this speaker along with NVX MVPA1: Monoblock Class D Compact Amplifier. The speaker enclosure fit my 2011 Prius but barely.I had a professional technician install it to my car. After testing the sound with default adjustments on the amp, I was satisfied with the heavy, punchy bass. However, as I drove home afterward, I smelled something weird in the car. I turned down the volume a bit and continued driving. A minute later, the woofer make strange, distorted sound. I turned the volume down even more but then the heavy bass just stopped.I got back to the technician and he removed the woofer from the enclosure and confirmed that it burnt out. I was more than disappointed. This piece of junk shouldn't cost 300 just to work for 3 minutes.

way over rated on rms watts
really had no choice but to buy this to safe space on my prius dont expect to run this at 350 watt rms for long the box is a great space saver but the woofer sucks did not last 15 min. at 350 watt rms I replaced the blown subwoofer with a rockville 10 inch 500 watt rms sub and now it sounds great
