The Scent of Legacy (The Arkona Purpure trilogy) Paperback – 15 May 2021

This is certainly one of the best debut novels I've read in years. The exciting, effortless style of the author kept me glued to the book and reminded me somewhat of Graham Greene and his ability to transform reading a book into a sort of cinematic experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the witty dialogues; I even laughed out loud on several occasions. It is truly impressive how the author managed to merge the two distant worlds: the magical world of Slavic gods and myths and the not-so-magical one we live in today. I also have to compliment the way Ms. Steinberg managed to satisfy the tastes of both male and female readership and create characters that are so very much alive and stay in your thoughts long after you read the book. Can’t wait for the sequel to come out!

The best book I ever read. I am amazed by the author's gift to present old Slavic mythology through the love story and present time. A second book of this trilogy is great as well. I am enjoying it currently with a same passion like I had to first one. Truly recommends it.
