CattPlex Pro - Aquatic Herbicide - Kills Cattails, Water Lilies, Grasses & More - Quart (32 Ounces)

I had previously used the product on cattails, mixing as directed. After a few days the cattails started to yellow. But it took a couple of weeks till they were cooked!The Lilly Pads were completely different. First time I’ve attempted to clear them. From reading other reviews I’d remembered a lot of them said it takes time compared to the cattails. I sprayed them along with a few stray cattails. Again after two weeks I didn’t notice much of a difference concerning the Lilly Pads. The cattails were dying. I figured it just wasn’t working or maybe I didn’t mix enough in. After the 3rd week I forgot about it. And then about 5-6 weeks in they started to disappear, big thick roots started to pop up slowly. I actually sprayed the remaining bits a few days ago. For me it was about time. End results are great! Good luck!

This product doesn't work at all! Applied it three times, even verified mixing instructions with the company, and it just doesn't work. Paid 3 times what the original catplex cost (and worked very well) and this product failed. Will never buy it again, found some other aquatic vegetation killer that has glyphosate and Will use that.Save your money, this catplex pro is crap.

Fish, frogs and turtles are still alive and active. We use this every year around the beginning of summer to kill the water lilies. It is effective for just about a year.

I ordered this three weeks ago so it’s been about 2-1/2 weeks since I used it. The shoreline around my property is shallow so I get a lot of lily pads growing up on the lake. I sprayed a big section around my dock last year with another product, and within about two weeks everything was brown and dying. The really thin area that only has a few lily pads popping up in my photos is the area that I treated last year with a different product. This year I sprayed this CattPlex pro on the few lily pads that were popping back up in the area I treated last year, and went about another 30 feet or so beyond the thinned out area that you see in my photos. It’s been just shy of three weeks and so far the lily pads are not even turning color or browning at all. I sprayed the mixture a little heavy so I expected better results by now. I was going to give this two stars because it really hasn’t worked at all for me. I’m going to give it three stars (assuming maybe it works better on other plants than my cattails) but will update again in another week or two if I see any change or progress on the area that I sprayed. Perhaps it works better on cattails than it does on Lilly pads.

mixed a half gallon of solution with a bit of dishwashing liquid for a surfactant.sprayed heavily a 10ft x 4 ft section of cattails.it's now been a week--and nothing!!!

Didn’t work and was very expensive

I'm just applying this now so we'll see about its efficacy... I will say that it's insanely expensive so I have fingers crossed that it's worth - literally - its weight in gold. I'll come back to update once I can confirm whether I've eradicated the cattails or if I've just made them mad!
