For about six months, I have been using two of these December 2023 tall and flexible edition Andobil phone mount and wireless charger combos in conjunction with two Aiishow dual cup holder expanders so that I do not lose the use of either of the two cup holders in my 2001 Toyota Camry Solara SLE and I am completely satisfied. Both the driver and passenger can enjoy the simultaneous benefits of this arrangement.I see no point in using a suction cup mount that will eventually lose its grip, sending your phone crashing to the floor. Nor do I see the point of clamping a mount to fragile ventilation fins and blocking the needed airflow and/or obscuring the dashboard display and operations buttons. Nor does it make any sense to me to similarly plug-up or obstruct the entry slot of a CD/DVD player either directly or indirectly. Cup holder mounting designs seem to me to be the best solution. If you can't spare a cup holder, then get a very affordable, well-made cup holder multiplier and you won't lose any functionality.This product gives the user maximum maneuverability and positioning with excellent stability and plenty of charging power. There are faster and smarter chargers for non-car environments, but this device provides our Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phones in Supcase and Poetic's bulky, most highly protective cases with all the power needed to reliably charge at a reasonable and safe pace. I plug them into my Baseus 160W power supply that plugs into the 12V port in the front dashboard and gives us three, powerful USB ports to choose from. The other 12V port is used for a Bluetooth to FM transponder which is not affected at all by this phone charger/holder.Phone operations are completely unimpeded. I can push it out of the way or bring it close for ergonomic interactions as often as needed and the sturdy but flexible goose-neck handles anything I need it to do. It has handled the temperature extremes of where I live and drive with no deterioration. It grips the phone firmly and releases quickly and easily with the press of a button. The mount is rock solid and can easily be tightened when rarely needed.Pay close attention to the long term reliability ratings in negative reviews of competing phone holders. This product is both sophisticated and simple where it needs to be to maximize quality, functionality and longevity. For example, the clamp function is manual and the release is triggered by a spring loaded button. It works perfectly, easily and reliably. Notice how many of the over-designed, motorized clamp and release featured holders have customer complaints about malfunctions over even a short amount of time. No such issues here. Sometimes simple and reliable is the better design choice.The package even comes with templates to help position the adjustable parts so that your phone gets held in exactly the correct position to charge with maximum efficiency.Be aware of how your vehicle handles electric current when it is off. Some cars let current trickle into ancillary devices like this. I happen to have a car that doesn't do that. If you car does, you might have to disconnect devices like this from their power ports when you plan on leaving your vehicle unused for a significant length of time, like when you go on vacation.This product's designers deserve some gold stars and a share of the profits. It's worth the premium price.
