I love pop-up cards, so I ordered this one to send to my sister. It looks even better in person than it does in the picture. However, when I tried it before sending, I found it to be very difficult to get the bottom part to lie completely flat. It should have done that automatically, but it didn't. Maybe I just got a defective one. At any rate, I recommend this card, but I do hope that the one you order will lie flat without any trouble.

Cute card, looks good from front and from back, a little stiff to initially unfold
This card is a cute, pop-up christmas card from Hallmark.As a pop-up card, it is nicely done. The cardboard is stiff enough to hold its shape. It takes a bit of effort to 'open' it all the way at the beginning, but once that is done, it sits OK. As noted in the vendors descriptions, the sentiment around the base (which is seen when the popup is sitting opened) is "Wishing you a beautiful holiday season". The sentiment "Merry Christmas" is only seen when the card is folded up (when it would be take out of its envelope and is on the bottom when the card is opened to 3D. There is a space to also write the senders sentiments or names that also is on the 'bottom' when the card it popped up.The biggest plus to me is that it looks like a nice bouquet from the front (shown in the vendor image) as well as from the back and each printing side is slightly different arrangement. From the sides, of course, there are the 5 pieces of cardboard of bouquet that make the 3D effect, and the front and back [printing shows a slightly different arrangement on each piece, which I think is a nice touch.The card also has matching colored glitter outlining the flowers and the stamens on the outermost (front and back) flowers printings. The 3 interior flower prints are not be-glittered. The 'flower pot' and the base (and where the messages are) also is not beglittered.Card arrives well packed, in cellophane over its shipping cardboard envelope. Inside is the card and the 'regular' envelope (which is green) that is used when sending the card to the final recipient.Envelope (the green paper envelope) is 5" x 7 1/8", with some subtle (very subtle) sparkles in the paper. (I might not have noticed them except the light was pointing the right way). The card when folded fits well inside). It wasn't too hard to fit the card into the mailing envelope, but it filled it completely.In summary, it is a nice pop-up card for the holiday season to send to a friend or relative.
