This gel was kind of icky. It leaves a sticky feeling where the product is applied. Other people might not be bothered by the texture but I couldn't really get past it. It doesn't stink really or anything just sticky.

I am not crazy about the smell, but that can't be helped I think. I also read mixed reviews about some symptoms that can occur,,but seems like harm is minimal,,it really is great. I smeared it on my back after I fell, and it really helped.

This magnesium gel did help a little bit with joint and muscle pain, but I wanted it to be more powerful at pain relief. This clear gel texture is soft and a bit sticky. If you have not tried anything with Magnesium, you may want to give that a go if your current pain reliever is not having much effect on your muscle or joint issues. This particular product is from a brand called Dr.Robaina and is made in the USA. We received the three-pack version and it lists MSM infused with Vitamin E and Arnica. So you should have no hesitation applying it in terms of the ingredients.The scent is mild and actually the three pack version is quite sumptuous. In fact, the manufacturer claims that 10mg of magnesium is provided in 1ml of the ointment, which should be one application. I found the product to work slowly taking about 30 to 40 minutes to have some relief on my sore knees. But this has been my personal experience with other MSM products. it takes a while to get the effect.This is not a strong ointment but gave me the necessary relief for 4 - 6 hours easily.I think if you just have sore muscles or joints, this product can work. The quality is great and the price is quite optimal. So for those reasons I think this product deserves five stars.
