Box set new or as good as new father brown series 1-6 if you like father brown it’s worth ever penny

Loved it. All discs worked well. Although one froze, but was unfrozen by opening and shutting the DVD drawer. Great fun. Period drama. I loved all aspects of it. All characters. Highly recommended for a bit of escapism.The only huge nag, was exactly what other reviews say. The case is badly designed. And could cause the discs to scratch trying to remove them. So remove with care, if you buy!

I had seen series 6 & 7 but I'd missed out on the first five so I bought this box set. I wasn't disappointed. Sorcha Cusack is brilliant as the gossipy baker of award-winning strawberry scones and strong right arm to Father Brown. Mark Williams excels as the sleuthing priest. Beautiful country settings and expected high BBC production standards make this a most enjoyable excursion into the world of the Country Cleric who constantly upstages the local constabulary.

Really good set of videos and so light hearted. A nice change from the chilling dramas that I also love .Trying not to overdose on them!! A good, fun watch.

I only started watching 10 episodes of Father Brown Series 7 when it was shown on BBC1 only recently and got hook. I've bought the box set of series 1 to 6. So far I've watched the first 3 series at the moment. Great series. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series. The actor and actress on the series are fab.

Brilliant series, have only watched the first 2 discs, but as far as can tell no problems! Mark Williams is great as the sleuthing cleric, and as are the rest of cast.... i like Sid the chaffeur to Lady Felicia, he’s just so loveable, you feel like you wanna hug him!

I love everyone of father brown series and never tire of them. I think it takes you back in time to the old England and the Styles and fashions , but also I love the stories we watch them over and over again.
