Not sure I really needed to replace but after doing so the sunroof shade works much better. One side there were no screws so I left the parts on after cleaning and lubing.

A few modifications like drilling higher holes is needed to fit. Kits parts are slightly smaller than oem brackets. Good fix considering it’s cost.

This fixed my problem with the sun shade visor. I thought it would be hard to do but went real smooth. While I had the top out I reupholster it and my a pillars nothing bad to say. Just buy it and get it done.

Product arrived on time and complete. The mounting holes were identical to the OEM ones, however, the lenght of the braket was not the same as that of the OEM one. It was a tad bit shorter.I got it to work by my using my dremel tool and triming off some of the plastic of the sunroof were the braclet came flush to the sunroof. Once that was done, it fit perfectly. Glides smoothly.

Easy to use, take your time and your roof will move smoothly and work again.

This eight piece kit is excessive. The only part that was present on my car were the sliding clips for the driver's side of the moonroof shade. The hole spacing on them is wrong. I guess they could be drilled to fit, but, come on, they are 1/4th of the kit... the rest is not used. The two spring clips appear to be replacements for the passenger side, but, these are not screwed on in my car hence not replaceable. If the other two pairs of parts are some magic way to repair the components on my car, then the vendor lacked in explaining how. I don't see it. I beat my old clips back into shape and am returning this kit.

This sunroof shade repair kit is absolutely perfect giving you every part needed to repair your shade slider. you should utilize YouTube for video instructions for repair. The install is tricky but worked perfectly for me. Remember to clean up your shade tracks and utilize lubricant, specifically grease. WD-40 doesn't cut it.

The part is slightly off from the original BMW part i.e. holes where the guide screws into sunroof headliner. This creates slightly more resistance when sliding the headliner. The parts themselves appear to be solid and sturdy.
