Awesome ebike
Bike looks pretty good when it's assembled which only took 20 minutes or so. Quality of materials is good except for the fenders which are plastic and came a bit warped (but I did get them straightened out). I bought this since it has the throttle and pedal assist which both worked good and are fast. Road it in rain a few times without issues with the battery.

Nice bike
We bought two bikes, price was right for a first time buyer. Some assembly required, which both went fairly easy. One bike, key was not there, got in touch with customer service immediately. Because overseas, you will wait for a reply, but they do reply, and they reply multiple times. They sent me part to fix problem, not happy to have to work on something new, but, I didn't want my money back, I WANTED THE BIKE. So we got it fixed. Bike works great, it's a very nice bike too. We have about 40 miles on one and 20 on the other...so far, very happy...I would say that this was a good purchase! And I also was happy with customer service, they were helpful and friendly at all times ( over email only )

Little tricky to assemble but good and solid
The price was great, so as long as it works you cannot really go wrong. I doubt any of the other reviewers are experts on electric bikes. I'm certainly not. It goes fast. It is fun to ride. The battery is easy to take off for charging or carrying it with you. The brake light is a nice feature. I bought a basket for the front. I have had it for almost a month and use it almost every day. I'm glad I spent less than $500 because I can't imagine I would appreciate or even notice the difference between it and a $1000 model.Four stars because assembly is never as easy as expected. Luckily there is You Tube. My daughter accidently put the handlebars on before some other widget and we could not get the handlebars off. We needed a strong guy with vice grips to help us.

Obsessed!
I absolutely love my bike. I bought it after my best friend said she was ordering one, and now we ride multiple times during the week! I just hit 45 miles, so I’ll update once I get a few hundred. (I am not writing this review in exchange for complimentary products; this is my honest review)At first, my battery life wasn’t what I expected, but after a couple of rides and charges, I’m about to get about 30 miles on setting 2 (sometimes 3 (most battery assistance). It doesn’t make much noise at all, just a quiet hum. Visually, I think my bike is gorgeous and stands out from other bikes while I’m riding it.Performance-wise, it’s exactly what I wanted. I’m about to reach a speed of 22mph on setting three while peddling on a paved flat road (I’m 5’5, ~200lb.)I’m impressed with the quality at this price point, but I have seen people in the HeyBike group who have had issues with other models, so I think the CityScape is a safe bet (the BFF has the same CityScape model but in pink.)The instructions are tricky (literally step one), but I’ve never assembled a bike. I watched a HeyBike YouTube video on assembling the front wheel, which helped a ton! I had the rest of the bike together within 30 minutes.

Fun starter eBike
This is a fun starter e-bike. I hadn’t used one before and I didn’t want to invest too much. Note: I was going to buy on installment but it didn’t take, not sure if that was a me or Amazon issue.Other notes. I’m tall (6’ 2” - 210lbs) but ride is comfortable and feels stable on the few rides I’ve done. Has good zip even at level 1 assist. I did leave off the front wheel caps since I read there was friction but works well without and still looks good. Happy with the purchase!

Heybike CityScape & 5 months later
8/13/22 Below is my review from mid-March. I've had my bike 5 months now, still lovin' it!!! Just sayin' :) Added 2 more pics... grocery store, and night ride.3/17/22 ..Took my e-bike out for a test run today. Love it ! Went out in the afternoon when most people are at work so I could test it on the road without worry of getting hit. Started off in “mode zero”, in this mode can pedal it like a regular bike. I pedaled down my driveway, put in mode 1, and it took off…lol kind of surprised me. It didn’t take long to get used to the different modes. I got up to 23mph.. was fun! Handled well on a smooth road. Also went on a bumpy bike trail in “pedal assist”, handled well again. I did have a little trouble keeping the seat secure, it kept slipping loose. I had to put it higher to make it hold tight. Which is really too high for me, I’m 5’4ish. I’ve asked about a lower seat, hope I can get one. As you can see in my photo, I bought the saddlebags, and a lock. Nice looking bike. Solid. Since my ride today, I’ve ordered the mirror (I'd feel safer with one) and the phone holder. I will definitely use this bike a lot, not only for pleasure, but also to run errands. No need for gas. Good exercise. Relaxing. And fun ! I really do love it. I hope it lasts years. Not sure where to take it if I have any issues. I’ll have to call around. Btw, the bike is pretty easy to put together. I’m a 66 year old female... if I can do it, anyone can😊 And kudos to the customer service department! They are attentive, reply quickly, and friendly. That’s a plus, good business. My recommendation… buy the bike !!!! lol Someone mentioned putting on the frontfender and light... I too had a hard time with that. Was planning to go to Ace Hdwr to buy a longer screw. I contacted the seller first, they replied to do it a different way, and they sent me a pic. Check it out. It's the only way it works with that small screw.

Service was exquisite, e-bike is everything you need.
Had a small problem with the battery and service was on it immediately, they went over and beyond expectations and completely solved the problem quickly and professionally. We are so impressed that we bought two more e-bikes knowing that if we had a problem they are on it. The e-bike is really good and fun to ride and are really well built. For the cost this punches above its weight. We highly recommend this bike and service department is excellent. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

Awesome bike!
My first ebike so nothing to compare it to but its easy to charge and runs great. I can’t imagine what else I would need. It’s been great riding with the extra help when needed

Good for small towns
A little heavy, so if you live upstairs I would not recommend to buy this. Climbs decently, but still you have to pedal to help on steep hills. Battery life is not great, so keep it at least halfway. good for small towns and very stable descending. Light is not as potent, but good enough to be seen.

Has the features for what the average rider may need for short rides.
Bike was fairly straight forward to assemble. Found seat post was too short for my height 6' 5" as advertised, had to order longer seat post and seat post shim to make it work, Also have a ticking sound either in the rear wheel or crank in 4th or 5th gear under load sometimes. Have since adjusted the derailleur and realigned the chain setting. Checked the axles and hubs for tightness .The sound is hard to find as it is intermittent. Overall, the bike works quit well, the diplay works as advertised. Haven't contacted Heybike Ca. yet for help in the ticking problem yet.I have since been in contact with Heybike, and the support team have responded immediatey . They sent a replacement freewheel ( cassette) for the back wheel. I installed it and did a couple of rides, the problem has been cleared up. I want to thank the support team for their decisive response and I believe the Company does recognise customer care for their products they sell. Thanks again.
