this is just barley bigger than the bottom of my dutch, and works great for slinging those loose loaves. Had an 8" before and it was a struggle. This is lovely.

This makes a nice crust bottom but not over cooked. Works great for getting bread out of Dutch oven and onto cooling rack without getting burned.

There's enough to deal with making a great boule to have to worry about the parchment paper sticking to your loaf. These things are GREAT and make putting the load into the hot Dutch Oven a lot safer!Love it!

Works like it should, no sticking, and easily cleaned and dishwasher safe. Haven't experienced any smoking like others have said, I bake bread at 450* degrees.

So I purchased this for a 10 inch cast iron pot. Sadly I realized that I should have gone for one of the 8 inch ones for my 10 inch pot so that the sides have some clearance.I'd imagine that this one would work great for a 11-12 inch pot.The construction is sturdy and I don't think I will be at risk of dropping anything as the handles on the silicone are plenty long.I may get creative and cut this one down so that it fits my pot.
