Q: Is this “D” size? Is this rated 19 Ah?

this is certainly NOT D size. this is about 1/2 the size of a AA size. in my case it fits my EVE garage door sensor for my HOMEKIT! Amazon trys to ignore HomeKit because its not their brand. Just Google it! is way better than Alexa and her devices. one app to control ALL your devices in ONE location!

Q: How old are the batteries when you receive them based on the date stamp on the battery?

Haven’t noticed a date stamp on them but they seem to last just as long a batteries purchased from the fence supplier. No issues.

Q: I was told these can catch fire... that they're 'knock-offs'. I think the dog-fence co. just wants to sell me?

I have used these for nearly six years in my dog collars and they work perfectly. In no way are they are "knock-offs". Will be buying these again in a few months.

Q: Can this battery be charged

I don’t believe they. There is no indication that they are rechargeable. I use mine in a dog collar.
