These were great!

Illustrations vary from professional to sweet childlike drawings from many types of media. I’m a professional graphic designer and was very curious about these. Regarding the bird powers, some are easily recognizable from the base game. Others seem like new perks that I can’t wait to try out. So glad I purchased these. Good value!

The media could not be loaded. Depends on what you’re buying this expansion for. I guess I bought it for the wrong reason.TL:DR the pact is split with a small few of awesome “legendary” cards, some clear upgraded versions of previous cards, and then mostly some just silly garbage cards that look nearly identical or are actually terrible.Some of the drawings are silly and fun, at first… but ultimately it’s not my kids drawing so I don’t care and I don’t wanna see this 5 year olds scribble every time I play.Like a Pokémon card pack, you get some shiny legendary birds, but also some energy’s and worthless things you already have. If an artist can draw the bird the exact same way where I can barely tell them apart… what was the point? I want something NEWI’ve taken pictures of them matched up with all their originals so you don’t have to wonder what you’re getting (spoilers).Depends on why you’re buying this pack, if it’s for the artists and their work, then you’ll love it. I get the idea behind it and it is cool to see variations. For me, I want fancy custom improved versions of the cards I already have, cause that’s what this is, I’m buying the exact cards I already have. I don’t wanna see what could’ve been an instagram post of a bunch of artists work that look exactly like the cards I already bought.The only reason I’m keeping this, is because about 1/3 are awesome and then adding the other leftovers to my other wingspan game because this expansion does have cards from ALL the expansions which is very nice.

Maybe I didn't read carefully enough. I thought this was additional cards/birds that weren't in the other games. Instead this is alternatives for existing cards with fan art instead of the original drawings. Some of the drawings are cute and beautiful, but I was hoping to expand the collection instead of replace existing cards.

The game arrived with pieces punched out looking used. But it looked factory sealed from the outside. Bottom line: buy this retail. All the board games I've purchased in store (B & N) have been legit new.
