I have recently gotten in to canning and storing and this has been such a time saver!! Works very well!

This device has kept various foods I put into Mason jars fresher longer over the past few months since purchasing. Especially dry foods like shelled nuts. An additional benefit is that it works flawlessly with the FOODSAVER reusable vacuum bags (https://www.amazon.com/FoodSaver%C2%AE-Reusable-FoodSaver-Handheld-Sealers/dp/B09Q996X6L?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1) as long as you ensure the bag is PROPERLY sealed prior to using this vacuum on the bag which is essential when using any brand reusable vacuum bag.I keep the device plugged in recharging on my countertop connected to a long USB cord. This way I can just grab, use and as soon as done it recharges within a minute or two at most. As for time to complete the vacuum process I usually let it run 10-20 seconds. Also I've noticed that the pitch of the sound while vacuuming changes from high to low then when about done rises again. In any case I have zero issues with how long it takes to complete the process.For the price I am overall very pleased thus far.

It does seem to work as advertised although it takes too long to vacuum out a jar. Would I buy this again? Nope!
