I actually purchased this dress in two different colors, black and red, both in size small. Although they were close in appearance, the details in styling were a little different. Both were attractive. I liked the slightly loose fit through the body of the dress, but both dresses were a little full in the armpit area and a little loose on the shoulders. However, for some reason, the red dress was larger than the black one, particularly under the arms, so I ended up returning it. or reference, I am 5-3", about 115 lbs, with an average bust size.The dress seemed to be well-made and I had no problems with sequins falling off or fringe dropping. I was happy with the purchase, given the reasonable price point. It was a fun purchase for my Roaring 20's dance party!

The bling on this dress really is quite lovely, and it fit fairly well overall. I know the 20s was a time of slightly looser fitting dresses, but I tend to prefer my dresses form fitting, and this didn't quite hit that mark. I am 5'8", 140 pounds with a 34D bust size and 28" waist and 36" hips, and the medium fit me relatively well in the chest and hips, but was a bit loose on the waist. It was also preeeettty short, but I ended up wearing tights, so that wasn't too big of an issue. To summarize, it is pretty good quality, arrived really quickly, was a lovely shade of teal, and it met my needs.

This dress fit me perfectly, not too tight, not uncomfortable, it's surprisingly elastic and lightweight, and I picniced in it all day, then danced in it all night! The dress never rode up, and it easily hides a bra, if you want to be restricted by the patriarchy. The fringe is SO FUN. It looked the part. The quality is seriously impressive for the cost. All in all I should give it 5 stars, because for all the dresses I tried on, this is the one I kept! But to be perfectly honest, I don't love the color of this particular beading. It's not silver, it's all the colors. Under a bright flash you'll see the rainbow, which is not exactly elegant or haute-couture. But luckily in dark lighting it's primarily a dark purple and dark green, which is an easy feather and jewelry choice for matching. Throw on a black-beaded necklace, and you'll feel great.

I bought a Large based on the sizing chart and other reviews, I’m 5’5 and a little over 170 pounds.This is dress was absolutely gorgeous! It fit nicely in the shoulders and chest and with the fringe fell just above the knee. The beading was perfect, so much detail in it. It felt like a good quality material and even had some give to it.Unfortunately I’m one of those people who’s weight settles across the stomach area and while there is some stretch to it, it fit just a little too snuggly in the belly area. I wanted to love it, I really did, but I just couldn’t get over the way the stomach bulged just a little.Even though I’m returning it, I’m still giving it 5 stars because it was simply a gorgeous dress. It just didn’t fit me right but it could be my body type. Still very pretty.

This dress is beautiful. I purchased the royal blue. The beading is "wow". It's not a throw away costume at all. I plan on wearing it again, when I can. I attended a Roaring 20's party for New Year's 2020 and it was a hit. I also purchased an accessory kit, separately. The dress has a little weight to it, so it doesn't feel cheap. It has good coverage, didn't need a slip. Fit just right. I am a medium on pretty much everything, but could do a large, since i'm 5'7", 155 pounds 36D chest. I went ahead and ordered the large just in case, and it was good. I don't know how much smaller the medium would have been, I had room, but I didn't want to chance the dress not fitting, so I did the large and it was good. Sorry I do not have a full dress photo.

Got this in luxurious purple and knew I'd love it as soon as I saw the sequins through the bag. I'm about 120 lbs and bought the small -- it's a loose fit on me, which is how it should hang for a real "flapper" look. I ordered two different dresses, and this is the one I wound up keeping -- it's more modest than the other one (at five feet six inches, it comes almost to my knees), is double-layered (so the sun doesn't shine through it, and it's not sheer), and the beading is pretty and flashy but also not overwhelming. It'll be perfect for my Halloween Gatsby event.Update: Wore it to two different events. Only lost two strands of fringe! I was the only one at both wearing it, so it's a rarer choice (saw lots of people in the burgundy / black or burgundy / gold from this same line). Overall, it's a fabulous dress and extremely comfortable. Will look forward to wearing it again.

Bought the black/lavender for a speakeasy party. Beautiful dress with lots of beading. I agree with other reviewers who commented on the good quality... this is not mass costume-store quality. Sequins are purple/teal like aurora borealis beads. Will accessorize with a peacock feather, teal jeweled headband, vintage teal beads and T-strap shoes. Will be a fun dress up event! This dress has some stretch so it fits many body types easily. If you want a true flapper drape that's not too clingy, order a size up... but you may need to tack up the shoulder straps as it seems a bit loose there. I'm 5'2 and 125 lbs. I first bought a small (too clingy) then exchanged for a medium which drapes a little straighter like a flapper dress. Happier with the medium.

The dress was well made with silver and black fringe. Was too small and form fitting so didn't feel it was attractive on me. Ordered size 6-8 which was too small for my 5'1" height and 122 weight. According to size chart that should have fit well but was tight and not becoming. No time to order another one a size larger.
