Lid protects well for freezing. 4 each 1 cup wells were easy to pop out frozen food, then re-package for optimal freezer arrangement.

Food Smells Stick & Freezer Burn
Don’t put anything in there that has any spices or flavors because they don’t leave after you’ve cleaned it. I froze chili and I’ve run in the dishwasher 4 times and handwashed 6 and they still reek of chili.Freezer burn: the lids don’t form a seal with the bottoms so your soups end up with freezer burn.

Good quality
These are excellent for meal planning. I make large pots of soup and freeze some for later. It also works for spaghetti sauce . It has a cover to prevent frostbite but I wait til they are frozen then put in a freezer bag for storage. They wash easily and the silicone withstands the heat of soups well. I purchased some for my parents since they also have left over items to freeze

Easy to use
These molds are easy to use and easy to get frozen liquids out. I like that it has a measure for 1/2 cup as well as a full cup. Easy to clean.
