I've been trying to get rid of a garbage smell in my apartment to no avail--until I tried this. At first I was skeptical because it seemed like it only vaguely scented the air within about a three-foot radius with poor spread and poor scent saturation, but it's actually surprisingly effective. You just have to give it a little time.It spreads very slowly, but it *does* spread and can cover a pretty decent area. The scent is mild, but honestly I prefer that to something cloying and overpowering that tries to use scent strength to cover the smell and then just ends up mixing with it in nauseating ways. This candle doesn't do that. I don't know *how,* but it does actually neutralize the odor instead of just covering it up, replacing it with a gentle and sweet aroma. It's pretty much made my apartment livable again, and it looks like it's got a solidly long burn time so it's definitely good value for the price.

Love the smell of this candle. Even after you blow it out the smell lingers for quite awhile. I would recommend it.

Immediate fragrance to help eliminate mildewed ceiling odor. The fragrance permeated quickly after lighting from the back around the corner to my kitchen. A slow moving ceiling fan may have helped. I’m satisfied.

**Edit 9/23So I'm adding another star for 2 reasons-#1 The company must have seen my review, bc they reached out to me and apologized *and* gave me a full refund. What they did *not* do was ask me to alter my review or anything sketchy like that. Obviously a company who stands behind their product impresses me, so for customer service I give 5+ stars 🌟#2 Now while I don't have large rooms, they are long & kind of oddly shaped, so I tried the candle in the smaller rooms, like the bathroom & kids rooms, and the scent was definitely stronger in there, and the watermelon smell was very nice. One of the other things that really excited me about this company was the unique variety of scents they offer- I love vanilla but I get tired of the same smells! So for those reasons I'm definitely going to try these candles again... definitely caramel next!I am SO disappointed! I was so excited to find a brand of "smell eliminator " candles that had new & exciting smells like Watermelon & Caramel, but unfortunately they literally don't smell like anything! And I have probably tried every smell eliminator candle on Amazon, so I know what too expect. I really, really wanted my (small) apartment to smell like Watermelon, but alas, is still smells like kitties and garbage that my kids conveniently "forgot " to take out. 😒 I gave 3 stars bc it was packaged very well & bc I don't like hurting small businesses...

I love the smells candles. However, the candles with 3 wicks are not my favorite. They do not burn evenly which cause the wax to puddle and it drown out the small wicks. I'm constantly pouring out the wax to maintain the fire.

Smells strong when I opened jar but the scent did not fill the house like expected. Could have spent $5 on a candle of same quality

It works very well. I have a big dog and it can cover up her scent pretty darn good.

I love candles, and buy them constantly. I’m not a snob - I can appreciate even cheap ones. But I do know how to take care of them. All of that to say that this is by FAR the most disappointing candle I have ever bought. I have only been burning it intermittently for 1 day and I’m about to just chuck it out. It tunnels no matter what you do. The first time I lit it, it burned for 6 hours until it put itself out bc it was tunneling so badly. The next time, I melted the wax entirely with a hairdryer to even it out. Again, after 4 hours, it went out bc of deep, narrow tunneling. The next time I did a tin foil wrap to attempt to trap heat to make it burn evenly. Same thing. This last time I literally scooped out all the wax to make it level with the bottom of the tunnel - basically ruining 1/4 of the candle. 2 hours later, EXACTLY the same thing.This candle is just that badly made. The wicks are far too small for the size.The smell was fine. Fairly weak, but fine. 0/10 recommendation. Grocery store candles will cost you 1/5 of this and most likely work better.
