I'm using this in a G20 with the lci trim. It matches the texture and color of the oem part which is a soft touch matte black in my case. It fits in well. The box is too small to hold the key fob, and it would be a good spot for coins, but I dont want to hear that rattling around. Instead I use it for microfiber cloths. It keeps them clean and easy to access to wipe my glasses and the touch screen.The door doesn't have any set positions. There's no retention in the closed or open position. It's just a free hinge. At this point it stays open when I open it and it stays closed when I close it without any rattle. We'll see how it ages. But for <$15 it's a very nice addition to the car.On the other hand the included trim tool sucks. It alone wont be enough to remove the part. Getting the original part out is a bit tricky. Just avoid using anything that can scratch your trim, attack the part from multiple sides, use the included tool to maintain seperation rather than using it to pry, and try to raise the part evenly and it should eventually pop out.
