The media could not be loaded.  As a BT (Bluetooth) speaker this is good as it connects to other devices with no issues. The sound quality is somewhere close to an old stereo format rather than a modern digital one but one can't expect more from something in this price range.The speaker has a nice flickering flame effect but although the colour is better than many similar flickering flame products it sadly flickers a little too fast and one can't adjust the brightness. Previously I have had a few products that have flickering flames but they haven't been as good as this one. The worst have been flickering candlesas many don't even flicker and those that do have a terrible effect.Although I wouldn't expect much improvement on the audio quality for a budget product but it would be nice to see this improved with some brightness control so more of a room can be lit up.Overall, this product doesn't disappoint as it does what I expected it to do. It connects with ease and it's good for both in the home and for days out to the beach in the summer months.For the price rnage this product falls into it is good quality and good value so I am recommending it as it is although to get a 5* rating the light does need improving.

This speaker is quite compact at 17 cm high and around 9.5 cm at its widest point. It comes with a usb-b charging lead. There is a boss on the base which would probably allow mounting on a tripod. It is suggested it is waterproof, so can be used outdoors.Controls are on the top with buttons for on/off, volume, and flame on/off. The volume control doubles as next track/previous track. A long press for volume, short for the track change.Instructions are clear,and pairing to my Walkman was quick and easy.The sound quality is ok, it will never be hifi from this type of device, but it avoids sounding ‘tinny’. Sound is also very clear even at high volume.I got the impression the flame effect is supposed to react to the music. It may do, but I didn’t see any difference regardless of what music was playing. It does, however, give a bit of ambience and can be switched off if desired.I can’t comment on battery life as my usage is too sporadic, but it does seem to last a while between charges. It is quoted as lasting 8-10 hours.I think it’s a great piece of kit, no downsides for me.Reasonable value at the current Amazon price of £29.99
