Awesome, awesome, awesome chains!!!!! I've spent years trying to find a chainsaw blade that lasts more than a season, this is by far the best blades I've found! They cut like butter and I'm loving it! I bought the bar and chain set also just because I wanted a new bar, the chains fit my old bar great also, so you don't have to buy the bar too unless you want to. I just couldn't pass up the price with the bar and chain set. I will definitely not be buying any other chain for my saws from now on, highly highly recommend to anyone in any size chain setup, best chains on the market!!!

I've been cutting firewood for 50 years. I don't know what's different about these chains, but they are by far the best I've ever used. I've been cutting up an oak log that's over 3 feet in diameter. I noticed a huge difference as soon as I put one of these chains on my saw. Not only do they cut better, but they hold their edge better than any chains I've used. I couldn't be happier. Hopefully they will take sharpening well, but if not, they're cheap enough that I wouldn't hesitate to buy a couple of more new ones.

Nice chain. Fits my Stihl 029 Farm Boss 7-tooth sprocket perfectly (purchased saw in 1995). I'd had a local guy service the saw and he replaced an old chain with this one. I'm hooked. The chain is very aggressive (large chips), and makes short work of even the hardest oak and ash. And, at 2/3 the price of the equivalent Stihl 26 RS 81, I'm a believer. Being able to buy Stihl products only from servicing dealers is nothing short of price protectionism. Thanks, Oregon. You have a new customer for life.

Value! Found on sale for 1/3 cost of Stihl. Seems to function and lasts as well as Stihl. Switched 3 years ago.

I've got a 20-in Stihl Farm Boss. It has been my goto chainsaw for 15 years. I usually will cut up three or four trees every fall for firewood and then several times during the year for things that need to be cleaned up or taken down due to a storm etc. The original Stihl chain was great....I filed it down to nothing. But I stumbled on these Oregon chains years ago. Honestly I will sharpen it a couple times each season as I need to, but I treat myself to a brand new chain every Fall and it's absolutely worth it to me. The entire first day I cut with it I feel like it is a hot knife through butter. Highly recommend Oregon brand for a replacement chain on any chainsaw!

i bought for my farmboss, fit as needed. i can only compare to my last "anti kickback chain" noticed this is much more aggressive then my stihl chain but that was anti kickback so expected that, so using this the first time i noticed that right away, also noticed i needed to be more aware when undercutting with this not having that anti feature it would grab easy, not a big deal but need to pay attention more. ill update with a lower feedback if it doesnt last long (time will tell) but sofar it was worth it

I have been exclusively buying Stihl chains for years. I decided I'd try to save a few bucks per chain and try out Oregon finally. I don't have any numbers for you, but I cut through a whole bunch of ash without needing to sharpen the blade. Probably went through four tanks of gas before the blade started to feel dull and the chips got smaller. My stihl blades never lasted that long between sharpenings. The only downsides to these blades is that I did feel the grab more, they seemed a little more prone to kickback, and a little more prone to chain stretch. Overall, small tradeoffs for a blade that stayed sharp for so long. I'll be running Oregon as long as this quality keeps up.
