Minnetonka Men's Double Deerskin Softsole Moccasin

These are simply the most comfortable, office friendly shoes I've owned. Comfortable from the first wearing. Do be aware though, they are "soft soled" - as in no sole at all other that two layers of deer-hide, so they are really for indoor use such as the office, or around the house. I got the black color, which looks fantastic and goes well in my casual office environment.Recommended!

I enjoy moccasins because it allows me to feel the ground while protecting my feet from the simplest to moderate types of dangers.The Minnetonka moccasins are the best overall I have ever owned. While you don't want to walk in them on broken glass they will protect you from almost everything and they are super comfortable. My wife purchased a pair for me a few years back and they lasted a good two years and the only reason that I replaced them is that I tended to use them everywhere including on rocks which will tear up the bottom layer of the sole - but not the top layer.I highly recommend them and congratulate the Minnitonka company for such a great product and such a great effort in preserving the historical footwear of the Native American's.

I have worn these same moccasins for twenty years indoors onlly. But finally the soles wore through. They are my lifetime favorites.

This is a very nice product - super soft and comfortable with the double layer, and extra in the heel where it will wear. That said, I think it wears a lot faster than the cowhide Minnetonka slippers that I've had in the past. So if you are wearing this around the house and expect a couple of winters service this will be great. Are deer hide so much softer and wimpy to wear around the house? Maybe - I don't know as a city dweller.

Having worn Bean mocs for several years, I can say they just don't last on the inside. TheMinnetonkamoc should out-last the competition by years.

These are superbly made, comfortable and long lasting. My third pair in 7 years and nothing’s changed.

I used to wear soft soles in high school and college, about 12 years ago, and man I forgot how comfortable they are. I use these as just regular shoes - inside sometimes but mostly outside.The deerskin is pretty water resistant so I wear these in rain and snow so long as the snow isn’t too deep (otherwise they are slippery). These are much better in damp environments than suede ones which can absorb a lot of water and get your feet wet.Most people would probably just wear these indoors, but I like the tactile feeling of these outside and they are more comfortable than regular shoes (for me, anyways). Yes, they aren’t probably suited for outdoor wear as much as ones with a rubber sole, plus the leather soles do get scraped and dirty, but that’s just kind of how it is with soft sole moccasins.These run very large; I wear a size 10 normally, but bought a size 9 and they are still a little big.

Glad I bought a size smaller than my shoe size. Fits perfectly.
