These give good traction to your ski boots and are very good value for the money. These are very easy to slip onto you ski boots and provide good protection for your soles and stop them wearing down. However if you are looking to put these in your pocket to go skiing, they are quite heavy. However, you do get used to them and they are no hastle.

Perfect fit

These are a must for skiers. They protect your boots when walking to and from the ski zone. Walking is much easier.

So I have just returned from a week in Val d'Isere. Our hotel was at the top of a steep icy road and I have to say I just felt so much safer walking down the slope with these on my boots. I would recommend these 100%.A few tips though... Get yourself a small backpack if you do not already have one as you do not want these stuffed in your pockets (Something like an Eastpack 10L) and have a ziplock bag to place them in when you take them off. when you want to put them on again I would step out of my ski and put it on straight away to avoid getting snow on the bottom of your ski boot that would hinder putting track on. You also have the added bonus of extending the life of your ski boots is you are walking a lot in them!

Bought these last minute before ski trip to Flaine. It was about 200m to the snow along the road so glad got these. You can walk a lot better with some grip and cushioning. Saves your boots too. Easy enough to put on/off fold up and put in backpack/netting.

I have used Yaktraks for years, and have always been frustrated by how difficult they are to put on size 12 ski boots. The Sidas boot traction/protector are a dream! Easy to put on and remove: No contortions trying to put them on for the walk back to the room.Custom ski boots run upwards of $1,000, and the last thing I want to do is wear out the toe and heel plates walking to and from lifts. These are so much easier to work with.The only negative is that a nut was missing from my order, so had to make a trip to the local hardware store and purchase a replacement.
