Overall, I really like this sun hood / screen protector for my DJI RC for my DJI drone. It's easy to install - it actually screws on to the two holes in the back of the controller and includes not only the screws but also a small but useful screwdriver that you can use to put them in (so it's entirely self-contained and you don't need any additional tools). Once installed, it's very firmly attached with the screws and is easy to fold out for use / to shade your remote control screen from the sun / glare and then to fold down to protect the screen while on the go. It even works with the little joysticks installed where most protectors require you to uninstall / unscrew the joysticks. It's a nice thick plastic that should be both durable and provide good protection for your remote control and though it doesn't have a soft inside, it doesn't seem to make contact with the screen when folded so you SHOULD in theory be well protected. That lack of a soft inside for when it's all folded together is the biggest reason that I removed a star as I'm a bit worried that it might make contact if pushed together. Speaking of that missing star, the other reason that I removed it is that because they made the choice to allow you to fold the sun hood / protector up with the mini joysticks attached, it then doesn't fit in most cases meant for the remote since most assume the joysticks are removed. Because the hood covers the back of the RC (since that's where it screws in) it actually COVERS the places where the joysticks would store when you remove them. So once you put this on, the joysticks are staying put.Overall, I do like this sun hood and - especially if you often find yourself fighting glare - this is a great solution for that. But if you have a case that is meant to be form fitting around remote control, it likely won't work with the sun hood installed. If that's not a problem for you though, give this a try today!

For anyone who has a DJI Mini 3 pro, one of the issues we all have is that the screen on the controller can be difficult to see when the sun is bright.I often found myself trying to shade the screen so I could see it better.When I saw this Arzroic sunshade for my controller I had to give it a try.The sunshade arrived well-packaged and included the sunshade, a small screwdriver, and a couple of bras bolts.The sunshade fits on the remote perfectly and then is held firmly by hand tightening the 2 bolts that are included.The fit is perfect. There are openings where the antennas are located so nothing is blocking the antennas. When closed everything is protected including the joysticks.The top opens up to show the screen and there is a secondary flap that can be folded to most effectively block the glare from the sun.One of my concerns was to whether I could still fit the controller into my DJI mini 3 pro case with the sunshade left on it. I was pleased to find out it will. The controller is a little tighter in the case but still fits perfectly.I am happy that this not only shades the sun very well but also adds extra protection to my controller.There is a small screwdriver included to adjust the tightness of the hinge if needed but mine was perfect as it arrived.I do recommend this to anyone with a DJI mini 3 pro drone. It solves one of the main complaints people have with the drone's controller and adds a lot of extra protection for the controller.

This sun hood is quite strong and sturdy. The flaps are tightly secured but opens and closes very smoothly. I like the extra flap that can provide additional sunshade, vs. the earlier models that didn't have this flap.It also comes with a screw driver that you can use to tighen the pin that holds the flap to provide more resistance for when opening & closing the flap.

Extremely simple to install with the 2 included thumbscrews, in fact I didn't notice there were instructions until after I'd put it on. It doesn't block any of the controller ports or impede ventilation. I tweaked the hinge screws with the provided mini hex screwdriver a little tighter than the way they came, but that's totally up to you. I tried to get photos that illustrated how the sunshade is a 2 part, double hinged piece that allows multiple angles to cut glare, but photographing it and using it are 2 different things when I tried to get shots that showed how it cut the screen glare. Personally I like to leave the sticks in all the time and will now use the slots for a spare pair. I'd feel very safe putting this in my backpack now for hiking as the "clamshell" is held in place when closed by a couple of rubber grabbers, one of which you can see in my photos. All in all, I think it's a great value for everything it does. Too bad I can't caption the individual photos to call out some of the features I mention above.
