I only ordered this because my old billfold has been killing my back. I read tons of reviews and decided on the Heisgie because of the mechanical springs as they seemed like they would be more durable than the elastic bands so many others use. I have been using it all day and am surprised it is pretty durable. I was worried that the money clip on the back wouldn’t hold my bills however they stayed in place during the course of a normal day of work and running errands.The only real issue with this is wallet is that I haven’t gotten used to carrying it yet and I found myself having small moments of panic when I didn’t feel my bulky leather wallet in my back pocket. I know that is something that will pass with time as I grow accustomed to my new one after all I’ve carried a thick leather wallet in my back pocket for 30 plus years.Also I have 14 cards in my Heisgie wallet and there is room enough for at least a half a dozen more.All in all I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of sitting on their thick bulky leather wallet.

I expected not to like this but I needed a hard wallet because all my cards kept breaking. I’ve only had it a couple of days and I really like it. It’s very easy to access everything you need and put it back in smoothly. I do recommend clamping the bottom and get cards like reading thru a book rather then pulling out the corner of the card because it a lot easier to put them back in.

Not what I envisioned

So this style of wallet has been gaining in popularity over the old bi or trifold leather or fabric wallet.I can see the appeal - this is a nice looking wallet, and depending on your usage, can be very slim - plus, of course, does RFID blocking so nobody can casually grab card information (not that I've ever had it happen, but it is possible.)Cash is carried via a money clip, which is removable. The wallet itself is barely larger than a credit card and (without money clip) 3/8" thick. With cards - well, it depends how many you have, of course.Despite being very solid, it's not uncomfortable in a back pocket. It doesn't really feel any different from having a standard wallet back there.For me, though... this style of wallet just won't work.For starters, I don't like money clips. I don't tend to carry a bunch of cash, though, so that's not a huge issue. What is, though, is that while this is great for RFID blocking, it's compact, all that - it's not organized. If I'm (say) going to the grocery store and getting gas, I'm not just pulling out a payment card, I'm pulling out others alongside it. In my standard wallet, there are slots for me to sort cards out - my HSA card, medical insurance card(s,) another section for things like discount/membership cards, a pocket that has my ID visible and space behind it for other cards - I can find and pull them out almost without looking. Some I use maybe 2-3 times through the year... but I can find them instantly.With this style of wallet, you've got a "block" of cards to go through. You've got to push them up and sort through them - and you may not *want* to be carrying them all, since it's just more cards to go through and adds to the thickness of the wallet. Which means you may not have them when you want to - and not all of mine have a digital version that I can just transfer to my phone.And, of course, there's nothing to tuck a spare key into.So, for me... this isn't the wallet for me. But if you just have a couple cards to carry, you may prefer this.

I've tried other wallets similar to this one before but this minimalist wallet by Hiesgie is by far my favorite wallet of all time because of the price and premium quality!

The Hiesgie Minimalist Wallet is everything it says it is. Extremely well constructed with the option of the removable money clip. A lot of good thought went into the design for this product. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a compact credit card holder.
