Great looking and easy to use
I usually do not write reviews, but with the great over the phone support from Eunice I have purchased four more of these locks. They are easy to install an easy to set up. They also look great.

Great customer service
Love the product. It was mostly easy to install - with the caveat being that none of the screws were labeled. If you’re handy, that’s probably fine. We ended up missing a screw and customer service (Eunice) was amazing! She called and texted to make sure we got everything we needed and they are shipping the extra screw we missed.Overall we also love the product. It has a very sleek and modern design. You can lock/unlock the door from your phone, get a one time passcode for a friend, use your personal passcode, or use your fingerprint. You can also make sure the door is locked which is wonderful because you don’t have to circle back to make sure you locked it if you forget. Love the product and especially love the customer service. It was well worth the money!

Doesn’t lock
This lock won’t lock my door. It just says it’s locked and makes a turning sound but will not lock. I even had a contractor come install it. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Beautiful locks!
Installation was a breeze. Sometimes it’s a little hard to get my fingerprint to work. The app works well an is easy to adjust auto locking timing.

Easy to install, great customer service
I purchased this smart lock because all the other versions had great reviews from Customer Service. I wasn’t too surprised when I needed help that they went out of their way to make sure I was able to use my lock and app.I expected it to be easier than it was but I also tried to have two people use the app on their device and that did not work, not while in the home at the same time. It makes sense, a bluetooth connection on a smart door lock probably can’t handle multiple devices at once.If you need a smart lock this one looks nice, installs easily, and has actual people for customer service.Also, contact customer service for help before following suggestions from other people. I could have saved myself some trouble for sure!Eunice was the one that contacted me and made sure she could help resolve my issues.Also, you can mute the alerts or make them louder, telling you when it has locked or unlocked. I muted it because my dog is a doorbell herself.

Blaw not great
I bought this hoping that it would replace my current lock and I can’t say I would suggest this device. It’s really not that smart, it can’t sense when the door is open or close you can only set a timer before it locks. Which if causes many times were you slam the lock in to the door frame. This also need a wifi dongle connected to power. I would suggest the u-bolt pro wifi which is a smart device. It can everything this one can’t and it doesn’t need the dongle.

Some good, some not-so-good, but overall not bad.
If you're looking for a budget friendly option for a keypad lock with wireless features, this set checks a lot of boxes. The key pad works very well, looks good, and fits standard (American) size door configurations. I removed the old deadbolt and installed the new keypad in minutes and everything lined up perfectly.The app leaves a lot to be desired, and yes, it is required to use in order to access all the features you're buying this item for. Adding people to your home is not intuitive, it's not easy, and each person has to have an account before they can be added which is honestly ridiculous in my opinion. The fingerprint scanner works pretty well but it doesnt have a wide margin for error, you need to place your finger rather precisely or it will give a read error.The bad: while the door handle was attractive enough, it was unusable because it was manufactured incorrectly. The door handle can only be mounted one way because the handle has an internal spring feature. While this is a nice feature, because this company's quality control is lacking, they didnt notice that the interior handle was made 90 degrees out of phase from the external handle.... meaning, when the external handle is mounted horizontally, the internal handle only fits vertically. I fully disassembled both sides of the door handles to see if I could manually realign them to fit, but because the internal spring system only fits one way, it rendered the handle completely useless.Since I received this item for free (minus the tax liability) from the Vine program, I will keep it. BUT, if I had paid the full retail price I would have sent it back, asked for a full refund, and purchased a SCHLAGE.Overall, while it's okay enough... at nearly $200 I want something that works right, is manufactured right, and has intuitive app control. The lower price point doesn't make up for these deficiencies, so I cannot in good conscience, recommend this product. 3 out of 5 rating is for the keypad alone, the handle is 0 out of 5, the app is 2 out of 5, and I would not buy this product given the choice to make the same decision again.

Great Customer Service along with a Nice Product
I bought this same lock for a house in another location and was able to get it all setup by myself. On this one, I was unable to connect from the app to the lock by Bluetooth. Tara connected with me via FaceTime and walked me thru the steps to get the unit reset and then connected again. Tara was excellent - clear instructions and patience while I stepped through her instructions. Thanks, Tara!

The media could not be loaded. I have always wanted to upgrade my front door lockRead some decent reviews on this one.Wife loved the style and look !It was very straight forward to installI only struggled because I have an older door and had to modify the openingsAfter easily installing app and setting it up I tried it outI was having error issues when trying to lock it .Unlocking was fineI contacted customer service and had a response within minutesI arranged a video conference call with Mark the very next morningHe was so patient and very politeIt took him all of 5 minutes to fix my issueLock works like a charm !I have all 4 family members now set up with fingerprints and codes !I highly recommend this wifi lock !FYI the “ left “ and “ right “ directions during setup is very important!Thank you Hornbill and Amazon

Lock works, app is garbage
Hardware installs easily and works well. Seems sturdy enough but definitely not like the higher end material locks. Where the issue comes in is the app. Requires a ‘gateway’ to connect to WiFi as it’s only Bluetooth. Fine but the gateway connection doesn’t work if you’re in your own house on your own WiFi - this means I can’t unlock or lock the door from my house unless I’m off WiFi or standing right beside it using Bluetooth. Useless. Same with Alexa integration. Also the info on unlocking and locking isn’t anywhere near complete so you definitely can’t trust what the app says about the lock, its history, and whether it’s locked or unlocked. Just got a Eufy lock and it’s plug and play simple and the app is a million times more intuitive and functional. Would definitely not recommend this one.We’re using the lock and that part works but the ‘Smart’ features are trash and it definitely needs an app update.

Not entirely wifi compatible
It's states wifi, BUT with out a gateway this is not wifi compatible . Plus...I had to redo the fingerprints 2 occasions in a week.2 issues
