Quality ingredients, indulgent treat
Excellent flavour and delicious ingredients - the nougat has a really nice, soft texture with plenty of bite from the nuts. I was expecting each bar to be a little bigger considering the price, but as soon as you take a bite you're hit with a luxurious sweetness and you can see that the quality justifies the price. I would definitely recommend this as a special gift for anybody who loves nougat and/or nuts!

Hard nut shells in nougat.
I bought these as part of my husband's birthday present and on eating the hazel nut & cocoa bar, he almost broke a tooth on a piece of nut shell. In that one bar, there were 4 pieces of shell. He has 2 bars to go and he is hoping that the next two are free of any shells. Not what you expect to find on handmade expensive nougat. However, it did arrive promptly and the girt wrap was very attractive.
