These worked well in my bedroom for hanging plants in my window

These hooks are perfect for lanterns. I wanted ones that do not protrude far from the wall and these are exactly right. They do have a hand forged look as advertised. The short black screws provided are probably fine for attaching directly to wood, but I substituted longer screws since I was hanging the hooks through drywall.

This hook arrived with many chips in the white painted coating. It looks like someone attempted to put a coat of thin white paint over the black version of the same hook. It’s not worth the effort to have to repaint it myself. I’m returning it
