I have tried another brand of replacement toner before for my Brother Laser printer and had a bad experience with splotches and marks when printing. I recently bought a replacement set from Smart Ink and have been so impressed. The instructions to install could not have been more clear, and the cartridges worked flawlessly with the exception of the Cyan cartridge. When I installed that one, my printer would not stop giving the "no toner" message. I followed the additional steps for that problem and then eventually had to contact customer service via live chat. I was immediately connected with an agent and after trying one additional step she said she would go ahead and send out a whole new set of toner with expedited shipping. Again, I am only having an issue with 1 cartridge but they are sending out a full replacement set. If you are looking for toner and do not want to spend more than the cost of a brand-new printer on OEM toner definitely give this set a try!

4 stars instead of 5 because one of my cartridges came empty. This caused a disruptions in the work day as we worked through it. However, I followed the QR code and contacted smart ink. They took great care. Once assured the cartridge was not functional, they sent a replacement that arrived the next business day. Everything working great now. Thank you!

Had an issue with the cartridges called customer support and they immediately sent new cartridges.

As always, aftermarket toner/ink is always a risk, but looks like this toner is working excellently. I don’t do a lot of printing, just a relatively small amount a single home printer will do. But, no issues from the printer and reads the cartridge perfectly fine. I have yet to try out the colors, I have only tested the black one so far, but I am willing to bet that the colors work just as great. If anything changes, I’ll update this post.

Immediately leaked blue ink. second set did the same. Went with genuine cartridges and have not had any issues.

My printer is stubborn and didn't want to acknowledge the Smart Ink toner that I installed. I sent a message to customer service and had a call to troubleshoot in less than 5 minutes. For whatever reason, we still couldn't get it started. After 2 tests, less than 5 minutes total, customer service asked for my home addresss so they could priority ship me a new FULL set of toner cartridges and I had them within two days. The new set works perfectly and I'm a new customer for life!Update as of 1/13/2024: Ink does not print clearly at all times. Most of the color printing i have done looks like it is on the verge of running out of ink instead of crisp, clear colors. Still a great bargain compared to Brother ink, but definitely not the same quality of ink.

Toner is usually uncomplicated but here the blue didn't consistently print so I'd get magenta where blue should have appeared.

I am extremely happy with the print quality of these inks! They are a great price and print the same, if not better, than the brand name ones I’d been buying.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I had time make an exception for this company.I purchased the TN227 toner for a used printer that I recently bought. The aftermarket toner that it came with didn't work, and I kept getting a "No Toner" message, so, after reading a bunch of reviews, I purchased the Smart Ink cartridges. As soon as I replaced the toner, the error message immediately went away.I was so happy to finally have a working colour laser printer of my own, but after testing it out, the printouts had blue sploches down the centre of the page. I watched a YouTube video on how to clean the drum and after cleaning it twice, the sploches were still there and the blue toner was leaking from the cartridge.I emailed Smart Ink and they were so fast in their response time. They just asked me to send them some pictures of the problem to see how they could help. After reviewing the photos; they shipped out a new set of toners to me, even though I only needed the blue toner replaced. (The rest of the toners in the box had worked perfectly!)They shipped out the new toner last night and told me to expect it in a few days, but this morning I go to the door and it's already arrived. Where do you get service like that these days? I am so impressed with Smart Ink! They have won me over and I will be purchasing all my toner and printer parts from them from now on. I will also recommend them to anyone I know who has a printer! And, my printer is working flawlessly now. So impressed with them!!

received my order and after installing it found it was printing lines throughout my printing - I reached out to Smart Ink for assistance. Their CS dept was responded quickly and are very helpful. Angie at Smart Ink took the time to walk me through various steps trying to figure out the problem and we quickly determined it was a faulty cartridge causing the problem ( It happens). She immediately shipped a new cartridge that arrived the following day and it is working great. The Customer service was very helpful and resolved the issues immediately, It is a pleasure working with a company's that stands behind their product. I will order from them again & again.

The magenta cartridge was filled at 30 % only. Other cartridge was filled at full capacity. You may avoid the brand name.After posting my comments Smart ink communicated with me and offer a full refund. I order those cartridges because I needed them and I gave them a second option to send me a magenta cartridge shipped free of charge. Within few minutes I received a message Smart Ink was shipping me free of charge an other complete set of cartridges. They work fantastically, the documents printed are clean colors well balance. Thanks you Smart ink for you quick service and action.

I was having issues with my full toner saying it needed to be replaced. The live chat option haloed me trouble shoot some possibilities to fix the issue. When those didn’t work, she shipped out a full set of new toners immediately. Waiting on those now 🤞🏽
