Not easy to use
I have made these (one of them) work for my need, but it was not easy. The hinges come without instructions and with the end attachments separate from the hinge action. I'm sure this is done to allow you to decide how the attachments best suite your application. The hinge is wider on one side (side with adjustment) than the other. In my application, that required the side with the adjustment to face into the cabinet to avoid rubbing the cabinet frame. But installing two of these in that way would require one side to pivot up while the other side pivoted down. That looked awkward and made for a less than smooth action. I ended up using only one of the two hinges. The hinge adjustment was sufficient to allow the door to be kept in the up position using the force of the one hinge. It took more time to work thru the installation than I would have liked. Having said that, the result is working well for me.

Its good for what I bought it for
The product is strong and heavier than I expected. The holes to put the screws in were not cut out all the way but the thin metal over the hole were weak so I was able to use the allen wrench provided to correct the opening. The instructions are 80% not helpful you just have to use common sense to put it together. Other than widening the bolt hole, I didn't use the provided wrench because it opens up the angle I needed. I did try using the wrench in the socket but I couldn't get it to turn. To be fair I didn't try very hard, just wanted to see how it worked. The screen is 19" if that helps you estimate size.

Easy
Used to hold overhead camper kitchen cabinets open. They work very good.

self supporting hinges
Needed self supporting hinges for a basement crawl space door that I was tired of having to take down every time I need to get something stored away. These work perfectly to allow me to swing the panel up and out of the way, get what I need and then swing it closed.

so so
Installed as per directions. Hinges hold the lid up no problem. The lid is less thsn ten pounds. The hinges hold the lid up fine and dandy, but once it is about half way down it basically slams shut. I've tried adjusting the hinges a number of times, but I can't get them to slow down the process.

Quality of hindge was as expected...Hindge is Working well
Product is made of good strong stable aluminum. Has been installed for several months now. Installation was smooth and product functionality performs as described and works as expected. I don't regret the purchase. Good, strong and stable hindgd that holds the weight of top, and closes slowly upon activation. Good Purchase..

Look great, do the job, TERRIBLE instructions.
Look great, do the job, We are very handy/mechanical people BUT struggled with install. After several attempts (now have extra screw holes in our build) we were just going to return them and get the compression type. Being stubborn and not willing to give up we grabbed scrap lumber and did more trial and errors until we finally got it! Not perfect as Id like but 2 work and hold the solid walnut lid up on a cedar chest. I think one more in the center would give it the strength to be a soft close as now it does slam once it is off the 90degree angle. Maybe there is an instructional video or better written instructions on the internet?
