These skewers are good. Not as good as brazilian 1-inch wide skewers, but work as intended regardless.- Good quality stainless steel, good thickness and fair width- Wooden handles prevent skin burns- Excellent choice for light grilling, camping being just one example- Do not take up much space when transporting- Will absolutely get the job done, as long as your food is cubed/portioned rightSo, if I were to, say, prep 2 lbs of cubed pork tenderloin, a few medium sized tomatoes, and some medium sized mushrooms - this will work great. I would not recommend skewering ground meat on these, not enough width to prevent meat from falling or spinning. Anything with firmer texture will work fine.

These are very long. If you have a big grill will probably be great for you. They are a bit big for our grill. Also, storing them is a problem for me as they are longer than the cupboard where I keep my bbq items. I guess I should have measure the inside of my cupboard before I purchased. Lesson learned.

The quality of these seem just fine. We have used them probably about 10 times now and they are holding up with being washed just fine. The wood is a nice touch for the handled and the metal quality holds up to cooking smores with. We do not really used them to skewer kebabs or anything, so i cannot speak to how well they work on a bbq.

These skewers make ordinary shish kabob look so much better when presented. They are long and have beautiful wood handles.The points are fairly sharp, but not needle sharp, so sometimes you have to give a bit more effort to push through the meat than I would like. I guess I could sharpen them myself, but who has time for that?

Nice skewers. Sturdy and easy to clean. Rosewood handles do not let heat transmitted to the the handler.Central Chef shipped the day I bought these items and I received them in 5 days as promised - although they charged too much for the eight skewers I bought from them.

I actually bought two sets of these and fell in love with them after having kabobs at an Indian restaurant a few months ago. I couldn't find them at any store, only the ones without a wooden handle, which I really don't get because putting kabobs on a grill gets the metal skewer all hot and very difficult to turn. The skewers are long and flat as they should be for large kabobs so expect that. These are actually perfect to make sheek kabobs with ground meat for grilling (which is the main reason why I bought them). With the flat skewers, the meat hold better and does not twirl around which is notorious with cylindrical skewers. You get a better sear and bbq on either side of the kabob with these. I threw away all my my cylindrical skewers after using these since I really have no need for them anymore.

Looked nice in the photos but the product I received look and felt of a much lower quality. I already had the long tongs and love them, I was hoping for more of the same high quality cook wear. I was not impressed with the materialor the workmanship, I have already had two of the handles fall off. I would not buy these again.

HERE IS MY HONEST OPONION:SIZE;The blades are about 1/4" wide. You can easily place once inch meat cubes on them..in fact, the meat will cook quickly and throughly if you use that size.The blades are LONG and you might be tempted to fill up the whole blade to make a large kabob. Best to just fill the end 3/4 or even end half of the blade with meat and/or veggies. This way you have enough blade extend completely over the flames without burning the handles or your hands.Quality:NICE wood handles...not sure if they are long term durable...but who cares...buy a wooden dowel and quickly and easily replace them IF they do fall off or break!VALUE:OUTSTANDING!

A bit shorter than I was hoping for and they tend to bend, but easy to clean and no rusting.Handles may detach, but a drop of Gorilla Glue and they are ready for use again.

they are longer then they look but work great! husband loves cooking with them! the rosewood handle is very smooth and sturdy

The length of the skewers made it easy to manoeuvre on the barbeque. The wooden handles remain cool, to allow handling without the use of oven mitts.
