Malfunctioned after about less than a week on a long trip - had to dump
Dumped my unit after it kept doing the 3 consecutive beeps every 5 minutes, which apparently meant it had malfunctioned.Unfortunate, because it did seem to be pretty useful and well-built.I can’t really return it now, ended up throwing it away instead of carrying around a bad detector.

Great Detector
We ordered this because we currently live on a military installation in their rented homes. Our oven and stove often leak and we wanted to monitor it to prove to housing the oven was bad. This works well and seems to be fairly accurate. It's able to detect the carbon monoxide as the oven preheats and the gas stove lights. The only downside is the battery life. We keep it plugged in to constantly monitor because it only really lasts maybe a day before the battery is drained. Otherwise, this is a great detector.

Looks nicer than it works
There's nothing generally wrong with this device as it does appear to work, it just doesn't work as quickly as it should. I'd consider this a safety item - you want it to notify you the instant there is a problem but it seems to take the device several minutes to actually detect a large increase in carbon monoxide. When I put it into several positions (near a furnace, fireplace and lit cigar) where I knew there was a higher concentration of carbon monoxide , it took the device way too long to register the increase. It did register it after several minutes so it does work, just not as fast as I would like it to.

Good CO monitor for the kitchen
I have a gas range and have been wondering about the CO in the house when it's running. The dryer is the same (in an adjacent room). I started looking at the CO when these appliances are running to get a better idea of how and when to ventilate. This device is small but has a lot of features that help track and warn about CO levels.

Handy peace of mind
I selected this clever device to give me some peace of mind while traveling, especially when staying at single-unit accommodations like AirBnBs. Unfortunately we've all heard news reports of the potential danger of such places if they don't have a working CO detector. This device is a convenient size for packing. It has three buttons: the center one for power on/off and switching the temperature reading between Celsius and Fahrenheit, the one on the left changes among three levels of screen brightness, and the right one puts the alarm on silent mode (which to me doesn't sound like a safe decision). The temperature and humidity readings agree fairly closely with those of other devices I have. I haven't yet been able to test the CO alarm triggering.A full charge has been lasting me 3 1/2 days before the low-battery alarm sounds. The sound is quite piercing and I'm certain it would waken me if the alarm is triggered during the night. The display shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity to save the battery, but of course the detector remains active. My routine while staying overnight in a new location will now include unpacking and turning on this device, and topping off its charge (via USB-C) if necessary.
