Great. Concise. No fluff.
Love the way this book spells things out in a simple clear way with the fewest possible pages!

Great walking map
Good pictures. I like how they show location and recommendations. Not a huge fan of the organization of sections. But it does make it easier to show each area. If I was looking for a single location to visit. I would probably choose another book.

Invaluable asset
This book was invaluable to me when I visited these cities. It has all sorts of money-saving suggestions, and the maps are clear and easy to read. I also bought two Rick Steves books (Rome and Florence) and the Eyewitness Italy, but the Frommer's was the one I took with me. Rick Steves was too basic for someone who had been to these places before. Eyewitness has lots of photos -- pretty and fun to look at -- and of course deals with other Italian destinations, but was much too big and heavy to carry in a purse. I was grateful for the compactness of the Frommer's, as well as for its information, many times over on my trip.
