The media could not be loaded.  Our canine companion isn't the biggest fan of raincoats, and given the mild climate where we live, he hasn't really needed one. However, with the recent bout of relentless rain and chilly temps, coupled with his advancing years, I decided to invest in this raincoat – and I'm pleasantly surprised! And even better - our furry friend seems to tolerate it quite well too (and looks darn cute in it!).On the plus side:- The raincoat is very light weight and generously sized, providing ample coverage from head to tail.- The color is an absolute showstopper! We purchased the green (which is more of a neon green/yellow shade), which really pops.- So far, the raincoat has proven to be 100% waterproof, keeping our beloved pooch dry and cozy.- The belly fastener effectively keeps the raincoat in place, even without using those pesky leg elastics (which our dog isn't too fond of either!).- And did I mention the stunning color?On the downside:- I'm not particularly enamored with the clear visor attached to the coat. While it appears adorable and functional on the display dog, it remains on our pup's head for a mere millisecond before slipping awkwardly behind his ears. To be fair, most hoods would likely suffer the same fate, but the stiff clear plastic material makes it a bit challenging for our dog to lift his head comfortably.- While I appreciate the concept of the pocket, it tends to dangle awkwardly over our dog's head when he's following his nose. Perhaps an additional velcro strap or button would help keep it in place when not in use.Overall, this raincoat has been a pleasant surprise, offering effective protection from the elements without causing too much discomfort for our furry friend. While the visor and pocket could use some minor tweaks, the pros outweigh the cons, making this a worthwhile investment for rainy days. Three and a half paws up from our pooch!

I finally found a rain coat that fits my dog within my budget. It is very well constructed. My dog weights 120 lbs and has a 36" waist. I purchased size 3x and it fits my dog perfect. The fabric is light weight and drapes smoothy. The raincoat is easy to put on. The velcro closure is quick. I love the vibrant green color with the glow in the dark banding. The clear brim on the hood is great! It keeps the rain out of my dogs eyes and it doesn't block her vision. I also like the opening for the leash on the top. My dog refuses to go potty if it is raining. I'am so happy she likes her raincoat! I can take her out to go potty in the rain. We are prepared for rainy days ahead! A happy dog makes a happy owner!

Bought the 2xl for my Golden retriever. She is on the small side. Coat fits well but the hood could be larger. Comes off head when she is walking, too much tension. Fits fine when sitting. Hood just isn't large enough, otherwise it does the job and fits well. The breathable mesh is a nice addition. She doesn't sweat under the coat.

After measuring my dog and selecting the appropriate size from the chart, the raincoat was too small to fit well. Technically, it "fit" but not really as the hood wouldn't go over his head the leg straps pulled the back down too far, so I returned it for the next size up. The product did seem to be of very high quality with excellent materials and stitching.For reference, my dog is a 20 pound cockapoo, and per the size chart he is a "small" based on his chest, neck, and back measurements. The chest strap fit fine, but the neck velcro wasn't positioned right to fit properly.

I have a Great Pyrenees/ Golden Retriever mix- ordered the 3xl, the body part fit him perfect. However, the hood was so tight on his head, it was a struggle to pull it over to cover his face and ears. When the hood was pulled up, he hated it and immediately pulled it off. It is definitely waterproof which is nice but just stinks that the hood is too small because the rest fit and worked great.

This raincoat is one of the best things I've ever bought LOL! My Golden Retriever needs daily exercise so when it rains it's not pleasant with him getting soaking sopping wet. This raincoat is a game changer. It's well made. It fits him perfectly. It's easy to put on having velcro fastening at the chest and under the belly. It also has back leg straps to hold the back part down and in place which is an excellent feature otherwise the raincoat would move side to side and wind could flip it up as well. I didn't think I would use the hood on him but I do, a bit small for him but it covers his ears and face. The hood is going to fit every dog different depending on shape and size. I ordered a size up 3XL. My dog is about 90 pounds with a long body. The extra size covers him completely and is extra long down his sides ensuring he stays dry as well as keeps the raincoat in place especially when he runs around. I never thought I'd buy a raincoat for my dog but oh my gosh the best thing ever!!

I have two dachshunds and a terrier. One of my dachshunds is a little shorter than the other and the Medium was a little too big for him but would probably fit if he had longer legs. My other dachshund weighs 21 pounds and it fits her perfectly. The Terrier weight 22 pounds and it fits her also. I really like the hood - keeps their ears dry without blocking their view since the plastic is clear on the visor. A little heavier weight than previous ones I have bought - seems like it would not rip easily if they bumped up against something. Well made!

It's a bit short for my dog, but a larger size would be falling off of him. Strong velcro kept the jacket on him through our evening walk. He seemed to tolerate the jacket well. Kept him fairly dry. Still had to towel him off when we got home because the jacket is a little short.

This coat feels like a well made item with kind thoughts gone in to every part of its design.Thank you
