Saved me a LOT of money and pain.
This is the best thing I could have gotten myself! I have fibromyalgia and a bad left hip and, my foam mattress is fine, it was the metal platform that was killing me. Having princess and the pea syndrome, I could feel EVERY bar and spring through the mattress even though it's 8 inches thick. I thought I'd either have to buy another platform and maybe even a thicker mattress. Not so! This Bunkie board solved all the problems and for an excellent price. I read the 'bad' reviews but they were from people who were trying to fit it in a bed frame. It works perfect with my platform. In fact I actually got 7 hours sleep last night! So much better than my usual 4-5. Highly recommend for those with a metal platform. Sweet dreams.

Not all bunkie boards are created equal!!!
Purchase this to put on my daughter's bed. I made sure I had the right size. her bed is a full, the bed frame is full, everything was purchased through Amazon. I made sure the bed was put together according to the package instructions, even used a measuring tape to make sure everything was coordinated as close to perfect as possible. when I put this bunky board down and my daughter laid on the bed, it was fine for a couple of days and then started falling through. We continually try to readjust I was making sure I didn't do something incorrectly still didn't work. I tried to return it but of course this item is non-returnable so I am just out a large amount of money trying to find something else to work so my daughter can sleep in her bed. that's extremely disappointing!

Photos are misleading
It's called a bunkie "board" but really it's not. It's just a bunch of wooden slats that have absolutely no structure or strength - the only way these are effective is if they are placed on top of an already solid foundation. Your typical bed frame has three bars across and hollow space in between. If you place this "board" over a standard bed frame, the wooden slats just sink in between the bed frame and provide zero support. Incredibly misleading photos, do not purchase this unless you already have a foundation (so then why would you buy it....)

Best support for sofa couch sleeper
I purchased this product to provide additional support to my sofa couch sleeper bed. I had replaced my old thin mattress with a foam mattress. The foam mattress was very squishy and needed additional support so that my guests didn't feel the metal bars of the pull out bed. This product was the perfect answer! It also stores very easily inside the couch. I just leave it underneath the mattress. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to increase the comfort of their pull out sofa bed!

Five Inches Too Short
Bought for full size bed. Product specs on page say 75” long, that’s perfect for my bed frame! Receive, box has label stating 73”. That’s okay, it will work. Reality? This is only 70” long. Width is perfect. But where did the other 3 to 5 inches of length go? Poor quality control spoils what is a useful, heavy, hopefully long term sturdy product.

A bit too short and too much to put back into the box to return!
After reading the reviews, I got some mixed feelings, but decided to buy this on whim anyway. Most of the reviews were not for Queen size beds, so I thought I'd have a better experience. All in all, I set up my Queen sized bed frame and when I first laid this inside, I thought it fit perfect. However, the first night of laying on it, my bed felt like it was sinking in. The next morning one side completely collapsed. The bunkie board is barely long enough to fit the frame without sliding to one side. However, I ended up nailing the bunkie board down to my frame and that seems to be working for now. Do yourself a favor... skip this, and order a box spring if you have a platform bed frame.

Doesn't fit, and slats are different sizes.
2 out of the 13 slats are 37 1/8" wide, and the rest are 38 3/4". The actual width of the twin frame is 38", though the two shorter slats work fine. However, the longer slats don't fit at all, making this completely useless. Will be returning (if I can)!

Will void mattress warranty due to not properly supporting the mattress.
Very heavy and there was one slat that was split with a huge splinter sticking through the fabric/protective cover. Disappointed in how easily the wood poked through he clothe protective cover. It is also shorter than the mattress length and had to be rotated 90 degrees in order to cover most of the mattress; so not the slats are going vertically instead of horizontally. Definitely not meant for shipping as damage will be done. These issues will void the warranty on your mattress if you are not properly supporting it. Extremely upset, that no one has contacted me, nor tried to fix the issues. I would love to hear what the company have to say and if anyone else has had similar experiences.
