Pleasing textures
Yes, this is a giftable journal, but I'd only give it to someone who's going to appreciate the features that make it giftable and who'd actually use it.Yep. I'm giving it to myself. I think I'm the only one I know who's meets both qualifications. There's nothing like the feeling of spending hours making a journal for your loved one, picking one of the more complex bindings, using paper that you've chugged half a bottle of Ibuprofen making, using more of that paper than it needs just so you can have that desired deckled edge on every page, carefully working down those acid-free paperboard corners with a folding bone, hand-marbling the delicate endpapers. . . only to get a response as if you've handed them a gift-wrapped suppository. The textures are so pleasing to touch. The cover is soft, sooth, with a subtly detectable pebble texture. It's oh-so-subtle.The endpapers are not subtle, but those are also amazing. It's a pattern of abstract sunbursts against repeating diagonal lines, like if your journal is wearing corduroy pants made of the finest baby wale. The pages are numbered. I'm puzzled as to why the numbering starts with "2" on the first ruled page. There are two ribbon bookmarks, one that matches the highlighter yellow of the cover, one that's black. An accordion-style pocket is in the back, and there's an elastic that can be used to keep your journal shut. The company also took the extra step of creating a paper packaging enclosure for the journal. I'm actually going to hold onto it so I can cut it up for handmade cards--the inside of that packaging has the sunburst pattern with the diagonal lines, except black on cream. There aren't any endbands. Big deal. Maybe that saved this $25 journal from being a $30 journal.

Possibly my favorite A5 notebook
I generally use dot-notebooks for planning and keeping myself organized, but I got this for a specific use. I'm writing notes to my kids that they can read when they're adults. This is probably the best overall I've used. The lines are not wide, but not super narrow from each other. The cover is soft and has a good light texture. It's well made. It lays flat very well (not perfect but dang close). It has a generous pouch (I don't use this, but it's well made). The paper is excellent. Only permanent marker bleeds through (expected). The package is great for gifting. In a box, wrapped in tissue paper. Pages are numbered.I've had a LOT of these notebooks, and I'm truly impressed with this one. If you're wanting to give one as a gift, this one will make them feel good receiving it, and make you look and feel good about giving it.

Nothing wrong with it
I'm a paper and pen type of person. I own many. This is a fine journal of the Moleskine-type. I think it is a bit on the expensive side compared to other choices, but there is nothing wrong with it.

Very classy
This is a very professional looking journal. Very nice firm cover, and soft lined white paper. Silk ribbon book marks and 1 elastic band. I love it. No fingerprint matte cover

Was higher quality than I expected
I think another reviewer may have gotten to them before me, because between when I ordered and the arrival of the journal, some of the information I was curious about at the time was already added to the description (either that or I was missing something when I picked it out). I was not sure how many pages it was, and I was worried it would arrive an be thinner than I pictured, but it is average width with plenty for my purposes. So far the quality and construction seem pretty solid. The cover feels as strong and comfortable as moleskin, and the pages are decently thick and well sewn/glued. I have broken in the first third so far, and everything feels durable. I use Flair markers and they do bleed through lightly, but not distractingly so. I will be curious to see how the binding and cover hold up, and will amend my review if necessary, but so far I have no concerns over the longevity of this journal. I love the color, and look forward to using it more in the future.

Love Papier & the Everyday Notebook Collection - It's Very Versatile and So Cute!
This is a great notebook with high quality paper. The hardcover and available in varying colors, and I really like that the ribbon bookmarks inside are a coordinating/contrasting color combo. The lined pages are numbered and you'll notice that every little detail of this notebook got the attention it deserved.I ordered the Green Papier Everyday Notebook to use as a travel journal for a recent trip to Tokyo. Here's what I thought:Pros: ⁃ I made this my travel journal when I went to Japan, and it was so perfect because I put stamps and journal entries and stickers on the pages, and then all my collected papers and tickets just slid into the back pocket (on the inside of the back cover there's an accordion catchall pocket), and it just closed it up with the strap, keeping everything in place. And it was the perfect size for carrying from country to country and then in my daily bag in Japan.Cons: ⁃ NONE! Loved this notebook in every way.

Beautiful Quality Journal
Not only is the structure and packaging of this journal beautiful, the quality is really well done. It's better than some of the journals I've picked up at physical department stores where I spend way too much time picking a journal to try. It comes with packaging cover that's easy to slip off and includes nice info on the back about the bookmark features and page style. It also has a expandable pocket in the back cover to add extra notes and stickers too. The quality of the binding has been strong so far. I haven't had issues with laying the journal flat to write and using the enclosure when I'm done. The paper quality is quite smooth, which made me worry about the thickness of the pages and if my writing would show between each page. The ball point pens I've been using are not bleeding through, so I can write and write and write without seeing what's on the previous page. And, I like that I can keep my place from where I'm writing and bookmarking my faves with the two ribbons. I have a lot of journals to keep track of almost everything - to say that I'm selective about what I like to use to write is a bit of an understatement. This is easily one of my favorites.

Beautiful and premium stationery
This journal is beautiful and feels luxurious. The paper is thick and high quality and the colour of the cover is rich and screams premium. I felt posh just writing in the journal. It’s also not cheap, and that’s the only reason this isn’t a five star review - I can find similarly designed notebooks for a third of the price. But you do indeed get what you pay for, and here you’re paying for a high quality piece of stationery that feels really good to use. The whole design is very thoughtful, with rich thick paper that feels great specially if you’re using a fountain pen, numbered lined sheets, and a pocket in the back to keep your library card or other small documents perhaps. This is not a practical purchase perhaps but precisely for that reason, feels like something worth having.

My New Daily Journal and Diary!
This diary is lovely and feels opulent. The paper is thick and of great quality, and the cover colour is deep and opulent. Just writing in the journal made me feel classy. The paper is of excellent quality, with minimal bleedthrough when using regular ink pens. Each page is lightly gray-lined and numbered. The soft touch cover flattens as predicted, and there's a useful expandable pocket at the back of the notebook for small items. I like the cover a lot! This notebook would also make an excellent present, in my opinion.Highly recommend!

Fantastic
This notebook is a smooth experience through and through! It's clear that a lot of attention to detail went into it, from packaging to craftsmanship, and I would say writing on these pages feels like a treat. The quality of the paper is great, with no bleedthrough when using standard ink pens. Each page is lined and numbered in a subtle gray. The soft touch cover flattens as expected, and there is a nice expandable pocket at the end of the notebook for little bits and bobs. I really like the lilac cover! I also think this notebook would make a fantastic gift.
