A good quality handbag is not hard to come by but can be on the expensive side. Which is why I LOVE this bag. I'm not one to buy overpriced name brand bags and definitely don't care for the name to be visible. I just want a good bag leather bag that wont fall apart and will last years. When coming across this Heshe bag I was skeptical especially after reading some of the reviews and continued to be so even after I received my bag. I figured Amazon makes it easy to return items so i'd give it a try. It had that awful smell that others mentioned and initially I could not find any kind of tag that confirmed that it was authentic leather leading me to think that I just purchased a fake. I contacted Heshe through Amazon and they assured me that it was genuine leather. I decided that even if it wasn't real leather I would keep it because besides the smell I loved the bag. It was the perfect size, looked great and felt like real leather. The hardware is good quality and it all around is nicely made. After a few days the smell dissipated and that real leather smell I love appeared! Also I found the "genuine leather" tag loose in the front pocket. Its been a few weeks and I just love the bag. Would definitely buy it in another color and look into buying other bags by Heshe.

Very Impressed! I usually buy Coach Handbags or designer handbags like Gucci, halston, MK...ect I am rough on a handbag and go through a few handbags a year it gets expensive at $300 to $700 or more a bag. I was shopping for a black Coach bag when I found Heshe yesterday here at Amazon. The reviews were so good I just went for it and bought 3 Heshe bags and 2 wallets. Ordered them late last night and got 2 of the 3 bags and 2 wallets this morning. First thing is the beautiful way the bags & wallets are packaged, from the "thank you" for buying tag to the protective wrap on the hardware, and the handbag soft storage protector to the plastic Heshe shipping bag protector, It was impressive. Then the handbag has this very good quality leather, similar to high end Halston Handbag and better than my $800 Coach bag. When reading reviews customers say the bag is heavy, I found the bag to feel solid due to the good quality leather and very comfortable to use the straps over my shoulder because they are thicker then my Coach straps. Im actually shocked at the low price point for such a great handbag. Feel like I got a great deal for my money. The hardware on this handbag is good not cheap looking but not high end either (similar to a Halston handbag) . I will be buying more Heshe bags I'm very pleased!

I like the color and it’s pretty sturdy. Like the two straps which gives me the option of carrying it shoulder or crossbody.I think the gusset is too narrow - the purse doesn’t open wide enough. Overall I think it’s a nice handbag. I would definitely give as a gift.

I ordered the red color for a change. This bag is well constructed and sturdy. As it is a hobo bag there is very little structure but it does have pockets on the inside for some organization. The only exterior pocket is a little less useful due to its vertical positioning, wish that one was horizontal. The short strap length is long enough to easily place the bag in the shoulder position with the same hand even if you have layers on. I haven’t used the crossbody strap yet but wish it was a little wider. I did not notice any strange odors as others have reported and did not find this bag any heavier than any other leather bag of its size. Overall seems to be a great bag especially at this price point. Would buy another HESHE product.

The purse in person is more orange without as much fade as shown with the model. I left a picture to compare. This makes it more plain. I'm a bit disappointed, but will still keep because it's close enough.I like the medium size, and open concept. Just one zipper inside, and one pouch. The outside smaller zipper is smaller than I'd like. Barely fits my phone. I also really like the zippers. It zips very smoothly, and high quality. It is a softer leather. It's nice to touch. Good stitch work too. The little details won me over. Smell doesn't bother me. Feels like a luxury purse.

I bought my wife the black one...and she loved it so much that we got her the brown one too. She uses the brown one almost daily, and uses the black one for her business meetings. It holds her (smaller) laptop no problem.The quality is amazing. We purchased these for her in late 2017 and early 2018. Now, December 2022, she's still using both with no problems. There is some minor wear on the bottom.... but all the zippers still work, there are no tears in the pockets or lining, and the exterior has held up well.I decided to leave a review 4 years later as a co-worker was looking to buy a purse for a gift, and I came across this purchase.

Its soft supple leather not stiff at all. The color is a rich ox blood red/burgundy. There are plenty of pockets and the size is just right to go on your shoulder with the bag part securely under your arm. All the hardware seems to be of a sturdy, solid quality and the zippers don't seem cheap at all. Bottom line, this bag is a beautiful and well made bag perfect for everyday use but elegant looking enough to use for a night out.

Never more disappointed with a reportedly "leather" bag....This bag has no structure to speak of, aside from the very stiff base, which makes the rest of the bag "slouch" worse than your teenager does...I find it appalling that Amazon does not better monitor false product advertising. As many have already reported, this bag has a very strong smell upon arrival, which although it subsides after a couple of days, it is very clearly indicative of plastic material. Believe me, for someone who has been surrounded by leather products for many years, I can attest that this handbag is NOT made of leather.Unacceptable business practices of product misrepresentation from seller/manufacturer, Hesher!! Please, do at least list the real materials for future customers!!--> i.e.: PLASTIC!!
