Where to start,My gosh I just loved this book. It gave me all the feels and more. Tristian was undoubtedly my favorite character. I’ve never laughed so much! I can’t wait to read his story next. Ava is a great author indeed!!

His protective Alpha by Ava Beringer brings us Rashad, an Omega who is escaping a bad long-term relationship. He’s trying to prove to himself that he can return to being that strong independent person he was before he let what he thought was love change him. He surprisingly stumbles upon his fated mate in Bronx when he stops in his travels. As he fights his pull toward his mate Rashad finds himself being pulled deeper and deeper into a relationship he’s not sure he’s ready for. An Omega trying to make it on his own and an Alpha trying to give his Mate what he needs, even if it means hurting himself in the process. That is the touching story that the author brings us in the first book in the new Seven Corners Shifters series. Lots of great side characters that I can’t wait to see more of in the future. All in all a great read.

I've loved romance novels for decades and have read thousands from sweet romance to paranormal.I had never read a Mpreg before, but this author was recommended to me.Very well written and a story that swept me away. I fell in love with both lead characters and the town they live in. Highly erotic, but tasteful with wonderful description and a great read. I'm thrilled to see this is a series, and I can't wait to read more. If you have never read this genre, but are looking for a love story with action, chemistry and conflict...and an ending you'll approve of, buy this book!

It started out good, then the pacing really sped up. The HEA happened probably around the 70% mark and the rest of the book almost read like an epilogue. I started getting bored toward the end.The Omega, Rashad, is running from some terrible past that we don’t find out until the end. Only….it doesn’t seem all that terrible. I felt it was kind of blown out of proportion and I didn’t like how our protagonists handled things when the last finally caught up to Rashad.All in all, it was a pretty good story, but ultimately became a little lackluster.

Rashad has been through the worst! After putting as much distance as he can between himself and the abusive alpha, he scents his mate. Bronx is the alpha of the Bolder pack and Rashad is his fated mate. Will Rashad be able to put his past abuse behind him to let in Bronx? Will Bronx be able to hold out long enough for Rashad to trust another alpha? There are times when Rashad could have communicated with Bronx and some of the stress would have lessened. But, that wouldn't make it as gripping story would it?! This is a good start to a new series and I can't wait to read how Tristan handles his love story!

This author is new to me and I’m excited to find another writer of shifter Mpreg.This is definitely a sweet, low angst, hurt/comfort, shifter Mpreg, fated mates story, with an independent omega, a strong alpha and a town that is ready to stand behind them.Rashad knew what he was running from but had no idea who he was running to, until he stepped off the bus. His past didn’t make him want to cozy up to any alpha, anytime soon. Bronx is a strong and fair alpha who takes care of his pack and town. When he scents his omega mate, he is ready to jump all in but follows Rashad’s lead.I truly enjoyed meeting this pack, and watching Rashad and Bronx work through their needs and I can’t wait to read more about them and the other packs surrounding them.

It’s sad but most of the books on here are about Lilly white couples - blondes with blue eyes and pale as moon skin . Rashad was a breathe of fresh air and NOT a fetish , which I appreciated .A good read for PoC and black readers who are looking to be repped in a diverse town with bold depictions of black folks and a happy ending !

So the story seemed to be a simple one. But the way the characters interact is different. Not to mention the independence that the Omega shows sets him apart. Just wished that we could of gotten a scene showcasing more of a fight with Vince. But it was worth the read for sure and does set us up for the next part of this series.

Sometimes m/m omega stories can be a little too light on plot for me, but this was actually a decent read. Just a nice, easy story.

MM, shifter, Mpreg romance with a guaranteed HEA. Easy to read story with sweet main characters and overall a lighter read. Great introduction to a new series.
