It's very smart looking. It's just the right size, fits in your hand and is very light even with the batteries. It's well made and strong. The illumination from it is amazing, I've never had a torch this bright before. It can be zoomed in and out making the whole room light up or focus on a particular area. The strobe effect and S.O.S. function is just brilliant, well thought out, that function will be of use to campers/hikers etc if the need arises. It's waterproof too and was made to stand vertically on a surface. It comes with a plastic holder that I can insert an 18650 battery (used in Vapers), and replace the standard 3xAAA batteries, now this is actually a nifty little function, I am a Vaper and always have my Vaper with me, and if the need arises and the batteries are dead, I can switch in a battery from my Vaper. Don't let the low price put you off, this is a keeper.

A very impressive torch with excellent zoom function. It's use ranges from a long range, intense searchlight to illuminating a room or garden at night. I have never owned a torch like this before. Too soon to comment on battery life. Fairly weighty but not too large that indicates quality make. Highly recommended.

Awesome value for money. I mounted this on the front of my mountain bike using hose clips and it’s better than any bike light which costs 3x the price. It’s very water resistant. The shock is starting to make the light flash a bit sometimes but I think that’s an issue with the battery not making a good connection which is an easy fix. I would also like it if these came with the lithium battery. Otherwise, fantastic value and would definitely buy more

For the money it is a versatile mobile torch, yes its early days so I don't really know how long the batteries will last. Another thing that I don't know, these LCD lights are great but with the old fashioned torch you can easily replace a bulb if that blows. With this modern torch I'm not sure what happens, but for now I am pleased with my purchase. Very, very bright but adjustable, simple enough to pull the top piece up or down, a wide spread of light for one setting and a smaller more concentrated light at the other end of scale. How long it will last I cannot comment as it is too early since my purchase. But for the price it does indeed do its job and although heavier than what I thought it is compact.

STRUTTURAConfezione pessima, ma prodotto fortunatamente illeso.Peso (con batterie) giusto: né troppo pesante, né troppo Leggero.Materiale e finitura della scocca metallica sembrano ottimi.Il compartimento led sembra non accessibile (e dunque ben isolato): unico vano apribile quello batterie.Da nuovo, lo scorrimento telescopico dello "zoom" ha un ottimo compromesso tra fluidità e impostabilità.Presa non molto salda dato l'involucro interamente in metallo, ma la zigrinatura aiuta abbastanza.Laccetto da polso in dotazione malfatto e utile solo per mani molto piccole.ALIMENTAZIONELe batterie (non incluse) possono essere 3 AAA oppure una Li-ion 18650. Nella confezione sono presenti adattatori per entrambi i tipi di batteria. Inoltre l'azienda, che ho contattato direttamente per chiarimenti (e si è dimostrata piuttosto gentile e disponibile), mi ha riferito che la torcia è anche compatibile anche con pile Li-ion 26650 (probabilmente inseribili senza adattatore) e che è progettata per sopportare una tensione totale anche di 4,5V.Dopo varie verifiche Sconsiglio dunque l'alimentazione con tre pile AAA ricaricabili standard da 1,2V (per una tensione totale di 3,6V): in questo caso la luce prodotta è davvero minima.Consiglio invece di alimentare con una tensione totale uguale o superiore ai 3,9 Volts (luminosità di molto superiore):- tre AAA usa-e-getta standard da 1,5V (totale 4,5 Volt) (economiche) (per uso occasionale o frequente);- una 18650 (o una 26650) ricaricabile standard da almeno 3,9V (medio-economica, ma necessita di carica-batterie) e da almeno 1500mAh (convengono per uso frequente);- tre AAA ricaricabili performance da almeno 1,3V (rare e costose).LUCEPurtroppo non ho modo di misurarla, ma come già detto la differenza di luminosità è evidente e decisamente marcata a seconda dell'alimentazione: con 3,6V è decisamente insufficiente, mentre già con 3,9V è ottima.Al massimo zoom il fascio luminoso diventa quadrato (della stessa forma del Led).La Luce è di colore bianco solo vagamente tendente all'azzurro.FUNZIONAMENTO5 modalità di funzionamento forse sono anche troppe (forse l'uso di luminosità "media" e "bassa" è indifferente per la persona media come me), ma funzionano bene e nell'ordine dichiarato.Con pressioni profonde del tasto di accensione si fa on/off, con pressioni leggere si cambia modalità di illuminazione/lampeggiamento. Purtroppo con due pressioni profonde si cambia inevitabilmente modalità.Il riscaldamento della torcia anche a tensione totale "elevata" (voltaggio 4,5V) è moderato nel breve periodo. Aggiornerò dopo uso prolungato.
