Works well. Good value and holds up over time on softer wood. If you’re going to mostly use hardwood invest in a name brand kit and spend the extra.

I would normally knock at least one star off this review because there were cracks in the plastic part of the case upon arrival due to a couple of loose bits rolling around inside, but I absolutely love the product so much that I’m still gonna leave 5 stars. The bits are very nice quality for the price and the variety of options is great. And of course, the color and presentation of the whole package is phenomenal. LOVE it.

I was expecting the quality of this kit to be so nice. I normally use high quality tools from tool trucks and common brand names. These look great on the toolbox and are excellent build. I am always burning through router bits, but these are holding up even on hardwoods.

When I was looking at these I really was impressed with what was presented online. Being I do have a router and was planning some wood working I could not pass up this incredible deal for these bits. Does save money with these in a bundle.My parents a few years back passed away from cancer and these pink tools reminded me about them and wanted to get the set.I ordered them and shortly they came.I opened them up and saw that these were built as far as I can tell very well. The bearings on the end rotate easily. Performing the job should be a Breese. Right?Well my stupidity got the best of me when I noticed the shanks 1/2 inch. I could not belive I ordered the wrong ones instead of 1/4 inch shanks so I would have to buy a new router or look for another set and that is what I did.These will always be near me just for what they will represent to me so sorry I could not use them from being in a hurry not to notice the wrong option.Learn from my mistake and order the right size shank. This is a great set. They seem to hold up okay so far and really cover the basics. My wife also things it fun that I have some pink tools. (Although color goes away once they’re used a bit.) My only complaint is that they came really beat up. The case was cracked and bits were loose. It’s not a big deal for me as I have another router but storage system, but it kind of stinks to order something new and it looks like it was dropped a dozen time behind a truck. Overall happy with them and would recommend.

These bits look solid and sharp and the variety is more than sufficient for most woodworking needs. However, when comparing these to some of my other high quality bits, I can easily tell that the carbide is much thinner than the other bits which have about 50% thicker carbide. Also, they seem to skimp on the body metal a bit where they can, such as tapering it to the top rather than keeping the full solid support. These are good for occasional use and on the go but they are not for daily use in my opinion.

These half-inch bits are amazing, the variety offered ensures the right bit for the right project. I was impressed with the range this set offered with the quality of each bit. There is stability that the bits have when attached to the router table ensuring clean lines for a better result. I was even able to test out freehand engraving, there is more practice needed, but that would not be possible without the quality stability. When getting a set that has such a wide selection, there is not always the best quality of each. This is a great quality set that was built for longevity. This stability increases the amount of detail and precision that the router can offer. These bits make the quarter-inch bits feel like I'm using a drill bit.There is a nice cast that not only holds the bits but displays them, there is also a poster that shows the bits and the edging provided by each. This really helps to motivate inspiration for different projects and be able to know the right bit is being used. There are some bits that look similar, so having a little "Cheat Sheet" really helps. Having a quality case to display the bits with the sheet showing the options and the wide selection, is a great value set.

These are shockingly well made. I never expected this quality when I ordered this set. At that time it was available in both 1/4" and 1/2" format... I chose the latter.The 1/2" shaft router bits are really, really rugged. They feature thick carbide cutters, and as you can see in the photos they cover a variety of routing needs. I even checked the bearings on the bits, and all of them are true.I don't really care about the color (sort of a purplish pink... odd), but it's certainly distinctive, and will likely make if harder for you to lose, or have a buddy swipe from you.The second you pick up one of these bits you say to yourself, "Whoa... substantial!" And they really are.The fact that it's all organized in a nice case with individual dense foam bays for each specific bit is a great extra. I can see that the strips indicating which bit goes where will not last... but it's not really relevant to my particular usage.The very last photo shows the exceptionally nice wall poster showing each bit in the set, and what they do. Nice! I won't be hanging it, but it just happens to fit inside the case, so...If anything, the only additional bits you might consider outside this great set would be for doing raised panel doors and stiles. I can't think of anything else.Beefy bits with thick carbide cutters and half-inch shafts. You'll be passing these down to the kids someday.Awesome set!
