So far I like these a lot. I do wish they had some type of zipper or seal but that’s just hard to do when you’re trying to go plastic free so I understand why they don’t. They are thinner material than your average storage bag but so far they seem pretty strong. I really like that they are compostable and biodegradable. They freeze well and they hold in freshness (we’ve mostly used them for bread making so far). They come in a roll of 50 bags which is a good amount and they’re very easy to tear off of the roll. I’m really pleased so far!

I absolutely love these!!! I’ve been looking for eco- friendly bags that are a good quality and affordable for a long time now. I’ve tried over 10 different types and these absolutely are the BEST trash bags I’ve tried!! I finally found what I am looking for!! Hello Subscribe and save!! I LOVE these bags, I buy them specifically for pet waste bags.I have 9 guinea pigs and strictly use these bags for their poopies, extra hay, pellets, etc. So, it's all natural and biodegradable waste. And I felt awful putting all of this natural waste into giant plastic bags. I bought these and feel amazing about not polluting the planet with more nasty plastic just to throw away a biodegradable substance.For my purpose they work phenomenally because I don't overstuff them and I'm not putting anything wet in them so they stay in tact. I did force my fiance to use these as kitchen trash liners for a while, but he hated them because they can rip if you're not gentle with them. (And he wasn't)Personally, I didn't have an issue with them when I was using them as kitchen trash liners. You just can't manhandle them or throw anything sharp in there or it will lead to a mess.Regardless, I would recommend these bags for everything! The only issue being is that they're more expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion for guilt-free conscience.

I am using the small bags for kitchen compost. It is generally filled up in 4 days (2 people in the household). There is always water (not just wetness) under the bag when I take it out of the bin; I have seen this in another brand also. None of the bags have ripped and I've been using them for several months now. I see that the large size bags have handles, but the small and medium ones do not. I really wish mine did - it would make tying up the bags so much easier, as I have to take the bags to a central compost bin and obviously can't carry an open bag. Sometimes the green imprints on the bag will come off on my hand but it washes off.

We have been using both the 13 gallon and the 2.6 gallon bags for a couple of years now and they are perfect for our little compost bin. We store the wetter stuff in the smaller bags as, they stand up to wet compostable items (like coffee & filters or other food scraps) for at least a week. We haven't really tested longer than that, but haven't needed to. The 13 gallon bags are great too and we use those more for damp to dry items. I have had problems in the past with other bags getting holes due to deterioration within a week, but I have not had that trouble with these. The company has also had great customer service and has been super responsive when we reached out with questions! I'd highly recommend these bags!

I have used many biodegradable trash bags, but these take the prize. They are super high-quality and I love the dark green color and the fact that these come with strings. these are a bit on the expensive side but so far I am loving these. I plan to order more in the future.

I’m glad I decided to get this brand . I like using bags that are not made out of plastic. We need to be responsible with our beautifulPlanet .The bags are strong for my small kitchen trash can .

We use the small bags for our wet organics bin and usually change it out after 4-5 days. These bags hold up really well to moisture compared to other compostable bags. We have not had leaks in the bin since switching to these, which is completely unexpected!

We have been looking for a compostable-bag that was the right size for our built-in receptable in our kitchen. The lined paper bags we had were either too small or way too big. This size was the perfect fit.In general, they have been pretty durable. However, one does have to be careful if the contents are heavy or if they are particularly wet. In these circumstances, we have had to resort to double bagging to prevent having it all over the floor when putting it out.

I bought these because our city does not allow plastic bin liners (even compostable ones) and this one said in big words " I am not plastic " as it says its a 100% plant-based bag and because it had that in big words I figured awesome, the city will know easy that it's not plastic. But they arrived today and the printing has definitely changed, the bag now just has everything below the " I am not plastic" but not that part. It also at the bottom has a warning about leaving this plastic bag with kids. So now I am wondering if they changed the formula from 100% plant to containing some compostable plastic?Unsure but have asked for a return as I can't use compostable plastics :( really thought these were going to be the answer to a non compostable plastic bin liner.Other than that issue I didn't actually use the product, but it felt nice and strong, and had no odor I could sense.

Anteriormente ya había comprado esta bolsa en otra medida y me decidí a comprar una mas grande, pero para mi sorpresa todas las bolsas están la hechas se parten por mitad cuando intentas abrirlas para poner la composta en ellas. Pésima calidad.

They are great for their intended purpose. They are only meant to hold shredded paper or compostable food products. Therefore, they are not very durable or sturdy but I don’t believe compost bags are intended to be that. We purchased them as our city now want all shredded paper put in compost bags. We found the ones that you can buy from local stores and Costco too small for this purpose. I am very happy with the product I received.
