Happy Hen TreatsParty Mix Seed And Mealworm, 2 Lb

Had I known just how much corn was in this product, I never would have purchased it. When pouring it into my feeders, it was quite obvious that corn made up the majority of the mix. There hardly were any mealworms at all in it. This definitely would be better for chicken feed than for wild bird use like I used it for.

The chickens like it, though they mostly scoop out the black seeds, but they could just be too large for our 12 week old birds. Or they could be fussy. But they do like the mix. They all start jumping and clucking when they see the bag.Also, after a few weeks of giving them treats occasionally, they all sprint to the corner of the chicken run when I open the sliding door, just over a hundred feet away. I think they like it.

I have given this product a 3 star rating, but not for the product itself. Happy hen party mix is great and my chickens love it, however they love it even more when they receive the proper party mix that was ordered - this has happen 3 times in a row now! I ordered two 2 pound bags of sunflower and raisin party mix, however all 3 times i have been sent two 2 pound bags of seed and mealworms blend. My hens already get that in their daily feed, so to them this is not a treat :(

Our chickens love these treats. Every time they see the bag hey run to us. I haven’t tasted the treats myself but all 8 of our chickens seem to be a fan of the flavors. Nice big bag for the price.

Chickens love this. Wish it was sold in larger bags, with a corresponding savings per pound. It just goes too fast when you're hand feeding 10 chickens. But they love it and come running when they see me! It has really helped me to gain my chicks' trust and now they run to me every time I go outside.

Excellent treats for chickens. A little heavy on the corn which my chicken dislikes but still a very nice treat.

We buy this, and other Happy Hen products, for our feathered girls and they love it! We "subscribe and save" to ensure it is automatically delivered each month and we always have happy hens!

My hens love this! They smashed it the first time I put it on front of them.. Package is easy to open and easy to seal as well... will be buying again when they run out
