Ok but better out there
I purchased these to run from my ground buss-bar to my Victron battery shunt. It worked fine for one trip in my bus then it got so hot. I couldn’t touch the end of the ground cable. In fact, it melted the glue off of his shrink tape around the end. After taking apart the cable I found the crimp on the shunt side was loose, glad I caught it before it burnt my bus down by at your own risk

Get too hot running 125 amps, voltage drop too large
edit: bumping these down to 2 stars. I'm seeing a 0.26v drop across this 12" cable running about 125 amps. That's simply too much. With 3 of these in my setup (2 on the positive side with a switch in between and 1 on the negative side), I'm losing 3/4v. Just poor. The copper weave is lightweight and not an actual 4/0 in current carrying capacity. I'm going to complain and try to get a refund.I'm running1400W max loads on an inverter with a 12v Li batt bank. Max draw is right around 125amps. These get uncomfortably warm, and the glue-like gel sealing the shrink wrap to the cable sheathing melts and gets gooey. It just doesn't seem right to me. Also, the stranding inside is not the beefy copper I'd expected, and which some 9" 4/0 I'd bought does have. These are quite flexible, but the compromise for that is too high. Would send them back if not outside the return window once I had the system fully up and running.

Failed Mechanical Termination
Bought this cable as a battery connector about 3 months ago (more like 100 days). Removed the battery 20-30 times as it's a project with engine trouble shooting. Connector failed in my hand today. Luckily I had a solder lug and slug to fix quickly. Not impressed with heat shrink quality either, upon closer inspection.

not 4/0
These are appear to be copper clad aluminum wires but not described as such, also not 4/0 diameter either.Do not buy.
