It is true that it does throw off heat, however, this WILL NOT de-ice nor defrost your windshield at all. Also, it will not even come close to defrosting any of your door windows and back window in your vehicle.I bought this for around $30? for a possible "quick and inexpensive solution" to try in a vehicle after my uncle passed away because it wouldn't out very much heat and the blower motor was out.They definitely OVER ADVERTISE how much heat this thing puts out and what it does.You WILL NOT be able to drive with this because you WILL NOT be able to see out any of your windows. It just will not provide that much heat I promise you.Also, be very careful about the plug in that goes into your cigarette lighter/auxiliary power...IT WILL BURN YOUR HAND or melt anything that ot comes in contact with after you use this. It becomes super hot.

It takes a while to get warmed up but it will get the job done after that relatively quick.

The only reason for this poor review is because the (plug in) part literally melted into the socket. 😂 not my favorite car heater.

Don't waste your time or your money I've returned mine the same day did not heat at all

It does not get hot, only maybe luke warm, can't feel it while driving from dashboard, not powerful at all. Unfortunately it's useless

This heater never worked properly, it did not heat up at all and after a 1/2-hour time I heard a popping sound and it stopped working altogether.
