Had high hopes after reading the reviews and the item description.Our cat kept going to a specific area of the living room where the internet cable and plugs were all located. We wanted to deter this.This product worked at first but after an hour or so the cat ignored the smell and returned to the area again.Even after continuously spraying the stuff it failed to do the task required.The smell isn't great but I could have loved with it if it had of had the required effect of detering the cat from going to that area but it didn't.

This has worked well as its stopped our cats scratching our sofa but it does have quite a distinctive smell. However the smell doesn't linger so would buy again.

It's a very small bottle for the price and the smell is not only a deterrent for cats but also humans. My wife has told me that if the smell doesn't mellow then I am not to use it again. The smell is much like silicone that's used in the window trade, extremely vinegar like.The bottle also leaked a bit.(Update) After using for a few days the cats still claw the furniture.

Great stuff, it smells like vinegar. You have to use the product and then say 'no' to your cat so they associate the smell with the discipline. It worked at the beginning as one of my cat really didn't like the smell of it, but you have to be consistent (I think it is to be used every 6 hours).

Doesn’t work on my 4 kittens still end up where I don’t want them to be.

There would appear to be less evidence of feline activity in the problematic areas since I started using Scobuty. Further time would be needed for me to give a more definitive appraisal of the product. However, as I have said, there are very indicative signs that that the spray is having a positive effect.

I purchased this as it said it had a citrus scent that cats don't like.As soon as I opened the box the bottle had leaked and was stinking of vinegar. No way was I going to spray this on my furniture!!!Smells disgusting, waste of money!

It has a very strong vinegar smell,not very nice if you have to spray in a lot of places.I just must had a naughty cat because it doesnt deter her at all unfortunately.
