C.KClassic C.k 5029 Legend Golden C.k Shears, Green/Black/Silver

I was impressed by the reviews but have not found these as effective as I'd hoped. I've only just started to use them so maybe it s case of getting used to them, but they struggle to cut through anything more than 3mm thick, just bending the twig - I've been working on a short box hedge and yew hedge this evening and have had to use secateurs to cut through the woody older growth, but these have made an easy job of lavender and rosemary. Maybe you need to be able to use greater force than I can.

Arrived promptly. However, handles are lose causing problems when using. In light of the cost this wasnt expected.

Within ten minutes of use the handles become loose. Design fault maybe ? Will be sending them back

have used the shears a few times since i go them, very good shears very robust and great cutting edge, the reason i did not give it 5 stars its just a wee bit heavy other than that i would highly recommend theses shears.

ON MY 3RD PAIR NOW IN 20YEARS OF TRADING [GARDENING] AND THEY GET SERIOUS USAGE. WILL BE ORDERING SOME MORE IN SPRING, LAST PAIR BOUGHT OVER 3YEARS AGO AND STILL LOOK/WORK SOUND. ME PERSONALLY, I WOULDN'T USE ANYTHING ELSE ,THEY ARE THAT GOOD...FROM FINE TOPIARY TO HEAVIER CLIPPING THEY WILL DO IT..EASILY AND THEY ARE VERY SHARP WHEN THEY ARRIVE , JUST GIVE THEM A WIPE /OIL AFTER USE AND THEY'LL LAST FOR YEARS. JUST ORDERED A PAIR OF THEIR BYPASS SECATEURS ASWELL. TRUST ME IN 33YRS OF GARDENING ,[21 SELF EMPLOYED] NO SHEARS HAVE EVER COME CLOSE TO THESE.

Very good pair of garden shares, a little heavier than the average due to build quality

This is my second pair of Golden shears in 15years (the other pair I lost). I use them pretty much every day in my job.Strong and dependable.

the shears are without doubt magnificent ? but there is an annoying manufacturing fault the paint on the green ferrules bubbles and comes off near edge where shaft goes into handle c k sort it out product too good to have this fault
