Heimthal Moving Sand Art - 3D Deep Sea Sandscape Picture for Desk and Office Decor (12 Inches)

I am revising my earlier review of this product as I have had this product for more than 3 weeks now. Bought as a Christmas present, and was initially disappointed as the sand won't form sand dune mountains as shown on the box. I originally thought the product had too much air in it. I do recall giving the product a good shake on Christmas morning and it created loads of small bubbles and the sand struggled to get through all these small bubbles. In the last 2 weeks these bubbles have gradually got bigger and sand dune mountains are starting to form more frequently. I like this product and its pleasant to watch the dunes form. It finally working as advertised.

I followed the instructions but at first the sand moved very quickly and became a flat line but by flipping and even shaking I’ve had some interesting shapes. Sometimes the sand takes its time and that’s when it’s fascinating to watch how the sand dunes and colours take shape. It makes an attractive ornament and I’ve bought it as a present and will probably buy another one for myself!

I brought a similar one for myself and the other half liked it so much I wanted to get an even better one as a Christmas present. This certainly hit the mark. I actually want to get rid of mine so I can get this one. It looks amazing. The quality is superb and it’s just all round beautiful.

Sand just falls flat does not define landscape. No peaks or troughs. Rubbish. One star is for the stand which, although plastic, is quite nice. Returned.

I got it as a gift & haven’t seen it, but the recipients seem to be happy with it.

Takes practice to make it work but when it does it is soothing and fascinating

Works absolutely fantastic, for those people who say it doesnt work, you need to flip it over not rotate it around! This makes the Bubbles form a nice line at the top that only lets a little sand out. I am very happy i bought this item , new art piece everyday without ever repeating twice.

Ich freue mich ,daß ich mich für dieses Produkt entschieden habe.Es ist sehr gut verarbeitet und mit dem tollen Holz Ständer sieht es sehr natürlich aus und ist schön standfest.Die Farbe des Sandes ist sehr schön und auch wenn es etwas teurer ist als eins der Billig Produkte ist es Qualitativ sehr hochwertig.Schön und sicher verpackt.Ich würde es sofort wieder kaufen .Es sieht auch,wenn es nur da steht,sehr dekorativ aus.

I have another sand painting I ordered just a short time ago. It is beautiful and the colors are bright and NO visible bubbles. This review is about another one that I will be returning. It is larger and comes beautifully packaged. That's about it. The sand painting becomes one big blur of shifting sand. There is no "art" and the bubbles interfere with the sand moving freely. After it's settled down, there are bubbles at the top and they stay there. I'll be asking for my money back.
